Just as the morning light broke through the clouds and sprinkled on the grass by the river.

A nimble adult leopard walked out of the dense woods silently.

Its fur shone golden in the morning light, speckled with black spots and patterns that changed shades of color as it moved.

Its body lines are smooth and graceful, and its muscles are strong and powerful.

His limbs are long and slender, but one can feel the power contained within them as he moves.

The long and thick tail drags behind it, showing its happy and calm mood at the moment.

This is a leopard in its prime, with light and steady steps and shiny fur.

If I can get it, I won’t have to worry about buying a gift for Mrs. Ye.

The leopard was obviously happy because it had prey delivered to its door for several days in a row.

It first scanned the surroundings with its sharp eyes, then slowed down and walked to the river, lowering its head gracefully to drink water.

After drinking the water, it slowly came to the place where Boss Ye released his prey every day.

Today, the prey tied to the tree turned out to be a roe deer.

When the roe deer noticed the leopard approaching, it was so scared that it retreated repeatedly, but the rope tied around its neck restricted its range of movement.

The leopard pounced on it immediately, easily tore open the roe deer's throat with its sharp teeth, and then lowered its head to enjoy its food.

Seeing that the leopard had become accustomed to coming here every day to eat ready-made food, Boss Ye began to plan his next step.

After the leopard had eaten and drunk its fill and left, Boss Ye climbed down the cliff and began to prepare to dig a trap.

He dragged back the roe deer skin that the leopard had left over, cut off two pieces with a dagger, and wrapped them around the outside of his shoes to leave as little of his own scent as possible.

Although Boss Ye went into the mountains to hunt, because of his habit when he was living outside the Great Wall, he always carried a small iron shovel with him so that if he came across any medicinal herbs, he could dig them up.

I don’t know if he was unlucky or his attention was not on the medicinal herbs, but Boss Ye rarely used the shovel he brought with him.

But because that's what his master taught him from the beginning, he always brings it with him.

This will come in handy today!

Boss Ye was worried that the leopard's jumping ability was too strong, so he tried to dig the trap deeper.

Although he didn't want to destroy the leopard's perfect fur, for safety reasons, Boss Ye buried a few poisoned arrows at the bottom of the trap.

Boss Ye worked from morning until midnight before he finally covered the trap with branches and grass leaves and set a noose next to it.

Finally, he tied a fawn that he had caught with a lasso yesterday to a tree. This time he made the rope very short to prevent the fawn from stepping on the trap and falling into it.

After everything was done, the sky was already getting slightly brighter.

Boss Ye didn't have time to go back to the cave to sleep, so he climbed up the cliff directly, eating pancakes with pickles while waiting for the leopard to come today.

The leopard had several big meals in a row without any danger, which made it relax its vigilance a little.

So even though there is a hint of strangeness in the air today.

But when the leopard saw the young deer tied to a tree and eating grass with its head down, its vigilance, which had not yet been raised, disappeared again.

As usual, it jumped lightly and jumped to the side of the fawn.

But as soon as its front paws touched the ground, the leopard immediately realized something was wrong.

Because when its front paws stepped on the grass, the ground underneath suddenly felt empty.

When the leopard realized something was wrong, it suddenly twisted its waist, trying to land on the solid ground next to it.

But there is still space underneath where the hind paws land.

The leopard suddenly lost its strength and fell directly into the trap dug by Boss Ye.

Although he saw the leopard fall in, Boss Ye still stayed on the cliff and didn't dare to go down.

After waiting for a long time, Boss Ye finally climbed down the rope.

He stopped when he was far away from the trap, picked up a stone and threw it into the trap, while preparing to turn around and run.

But after throwing two stones, there was still no sound from the trap.

Only then did Boss Ye muster up the courage to walk to the trap and look inside.

I saw an arrow pierce through the leopard's chin, penetrate its body and come out from the back of its neck.

The leopard was no longer breathing.

Boss Ye breathed a sigh of relief, then felt completely exhausted and sat down next to the trap.

After resting for a while and regaining his strength, Boss Ye got up and began to think of a way to get the leopard out of the trap.

An adult leopard weighs over a hundred pounds, and Boss Ye tried several times but couldn't get it up there.

It's true that the harder we worked to dig the trap, the harder it is to get the leopard out now.

Boss Ye had no choice but to take a few more hemp ropes and tie them to the tree next to him. He then went down into the trap along the ropes and took out all the arrows from the leopard's body.

Then tie the leopard's body with a rope, climb up and drag it out of the trap.

This is how the leopard was finally brought to the ground.

He started working in the morning, and the sun was already high above his head.

Boss Ye didn't sleep the night before and worked almost all night.

Now I am so tired that I don’t even want to move my fingertips.

He sprawled out on the grass and allowed himself a moment's rest.

Fortunately, this area is the leopard's territory, so there shouldn't be any large beasts coming here in the short term.

But Boss Ye also knew in his heart that it was not advisable to stay here for long.
