Chapter 280 Amusement Park and Gifts

"Huh?" Linda was stunned.

This left Leah and Isa extremely embarrassed.

So it turns out that Linda invited their adventure team.

"Then, where are they now?"

"He's playing at Xueyan's villa."

"Fanice and the others went to South Rock for a trip."

They each gave their own answer.

"Well, there's no other way then. It'll be just us. We won't invite them."

Linda shook her head helplessly, took Monica's soft little hand, and said, "Let's go."

The group filed out of the coffee shop.

When Linda and a group of girls appeared on the street, they immediately became the focus of attention.

Jealous glances were cast at Linda.

"Who is that guy? How can he be leading a group of such cute girls?"

"Heh, you're such a country bumpkin. Who doesn't know Linda, the 'Eye of Truth' from White Dove City? He's a top adventurer featured in the Adventurers' Weekly!"

"Hiss, so it's Captain Linda. I've heard rumors about her, but this is the first time I've seen her in person. She's much more handsome than in the newspaper photos."

"If it's Captain Linda surrounded by beautiful girls, then I can understand."

The jealousy of the crowd turned into envy and admiration.

Others have beautiful girls with them, but I can't.

Linda has it, okay!

Linda was still quite uncomfortable; his every move in the crowd was being closely watched. It seemed they even spotted reporter Kami hiding behind a trash can?

Linda thought to herself that all her scandals and rumors about her were spread by Kami. If she caught Kami, she would have to teach him a lesson to stop the reporter from making up stories every day.

He's never driven a silver car!

It's all fake news!

While adjusting to the stares of the crowd, Linda picked out a gift at a jewelry stall.

He bought Monica a panda doll eating bamboo and Lulu a blue jade bracelet.

Isabella and Leah each had a hat.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a green hat, but a beret, which is all the rage this year.

Designed by the elven design master, Berel, this new autumn/winter collection emphasizes warmth and style, featuring an ornate font that at first glance resembles elven English. It quickly became a best-selling style.

The saying "the moon is always brighter abroad" applies to this other world as well. It seems that having Elven script on clothes, which most people don't recognize, makes one appear more high-class. After all, only the wealthy can afford to learn Elven script; the local dialect is the prevailing language in White Dove City.

Linda put the black beret on Leah's head, and the white one on Isa.

It just doesn't really match with a yukata.

He even messed up Leah's hair, and she glared at him angrily. But at least she didn't draw her sword; Leah put the hat into her spatial ring.

"Thank you for the gift." Isha said seriously, "I will cherish it."

This made Linda a little embarrassed: "It's just a hat, I'll give you more in the future."

"What...what does this mean?!"

"Every year on White Thanksgiving, friends exchange gifts, right? Like chocolates. Am I the only one who considers Isha a friend?"

"No, that's not true. We are indeed... friends."

As Isa spoke, her eyes dimmed.

She took off her hat, carefully placed it into a paper bag, and then put it into her spatial ring, as if it were an extremely precious magical artifact.

But Linda bought the hat for only 5 silver coins.

Linda believed that this was due to Isa's personality.

No matter who gives Isha a gift, it will be treated with great care.

But no one knows the real reason.

Isa took the hat as a farewell gift from Linda.

From now on, White Thanksgiving will be irrelevant to her; she will try to stay away from Linda and focus on the Ice Flower Adventure Team.

"Hey, are you sick?" Leah frowned at Isa, showing concern for her old rival in her own way.

"She probably caught a cold," Isa said with a dismissive smile.

"Yeah……"

After buying gifts, the group strolled around the shopping street, eating various snacks.

Before we knew it, dusk had fallen.

Lia licked the candied apple in her hand and suggested, "Let's go to Swan Amusement Park. There's a small hill there, and I heard the view is beautiful; it's the best spot to watch the fireworks show."

Lulu nodded: "I read in the newspaper that there are many interesting shops in the amusement park."

Lulu didn't say the second half of the sentence.

Those shops are basically geared towards couples.

"Then let's go to Swan Amusement Park."

Linda stopped a carriage and got in with the girls, heading towards the Swan Amusement Park in the suburbs.

'Huh, what's that...'

Lulu, who was sitting by the window, saw a silver-haired maid in a black yukata behind the carriage. She looked flustered and seemed to be looking for something.

No.

We can no longer call her a maid.

Tasia changed out of her heavy maid outfit and put on the black yukata that Linda had chosen.

Her cold and beautiful face was full of anxiety. She stood in the crowd, biting her lip, looking around for someone.

Tasia was holding a handbag, and inside the handbag, a corner of a blue scarf could be vaguely seen.

It has cute little figures embroidered on it.

Linda and the shadowy figure stood back to back. One was bathed in light, while the other held a demonic sword, hidden in the shadows.

It was definitely not bought from a store.

It's handmade!

Lulu immediately realized that this was a scarf that Tasia had personally knitted for Linda!
