"This is the room where the lady lives. Here is the key. You can open the door and go in." The soldier handed the key to He Xingjue.

He Xingjue took it, but didn't move.

The soldier glanced furtively at his commander and then tiptoed away.

He Xingjue finally used the key to open the door.

The room was pitch black, and a single bed was just a few steps away. The blankets on the bed were slightly bulging, and the boy was still fast asleep, hugging his pillow, unaware that someone had entered.

Such a low level of vigilance?

He Xingjue frowned, the thought of someone else entering instead of him, someone seeing his sleeping face, or even assaulting him—

He Xingjue's killing intent surged up, and he inadvertently revealed a trace of it.

But it was this hint of murderous intent that made Li Ze open his eyes. "Who?"

"It's me." He Xing was a little uneasy, afraid that Li Ze would ask him why he had broken into his room.

He Xingjue clenched his fist without realizing it.

However, Li Ze didn't ask. He lazily got up, turned on the light, and yawned, "What time is it now?"

When Li Ze came out of the room, he found a large group of people standing outside the door. He was taken aback. "Are you in such a hurry?"

He Xingjue's face darkened, and his cold gaze swept over Gao Feng and the others. However, Gao Feng and the others were not afraid of him at all. At this moment, they were smiling and saying to Li Ze, "We heard that Madam is going to lead us to do something big. How can we hold back?"

Li Ze remained noncommittal. "Have you had breakfast?"

"No, we were waiting for you." Gao Feng leaned forward. "The restaurant is this way, shall we go together?"

Li Ze nodded. "Okay."

So Gao Feng and Li Ze walked ahead, chatting happily. He Xingjue lagged behind, his eyes blazing with hatred, wishing he could tear Gao Feng apart alive.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Gao Feng was about to sit next to Li Ze when Shi Chuan quickly pulled him away. Shi Chuan sat to Li Ze's left, while He Xingjue sat to Li Ze's right.

Gao Feng raised an eyebrow, glared at Ishikawa, and sat down next to him.

"What do you want to eat?" He Xingjue asked.

“Anything is fine, I’m not picky,” Li Ze replied.

Upon hearing this, He Xingjue picked up the plate in front of Li Ze and filled it with all the food.

"Isn't that too much?" Ishikawa whispered, afraid that his commander would leave a bad impression on his wife.

"No," Li Ze replied, then turned to He Xingjue and said, "Thank you."

He Xingjue responded softly, "It's alright," and his furrowed brows finally relaxed.

"Give me your mech, and I'll have someone equip it with weapons." He Xingjue quickly finished his breakfast and then reached out to Li Ze.

Li Ze's eyes lit up, and he immediately took the spatial button containing Xuan Ying from his index finger and handed it to He Xingjue, saying, "Thank you for your help."

"No trouble at all." He Xingjue took the spatial button with a hint of solemnity, as if what he held in his palm was not a spatial button, but a wedding ring.

After leaving the restaurant, He Xingjue dared to take a closer look at Li Ze's spatial button. It was black, just like Xuan Ying's, understated yet luxurious, and seemed to retain the warmth of the boy.

For reasons unknown, He Xingjue slipped the spatial button onto his ring finger.

Li Ze nodded and immediately looked down at the personal terminal. "Shall we set off now?"

He Xingjue nodded, "You can ride in my mecha and look at the data inside."
