A sudden gust of wind swept through, rustling the leaves and ruffling Mu Xue's hair. To make matters worse, the wind blew away some of the camouflage on the trap, revealing the dark entrance below.

Ning Yu inwardly cried out in alarm; he knew he was in trouble.

As expected, the strange bird noticed the trap's anomaly. It abruptly stopped in mid-air, its massive wings flapping and creating a whirlwind. Its sharp eyes were fixed on the trap; the dark entrance resembled a predatory monster, making it uneasy.

Ning Yu and Mu Xue were extremely anxious. Was the turning point they had finally found going to disappear like this?

The strange bird circled in the air a few times before suddenly letting out a sharp cry, filled with anger and vigilance. It seemed to have realized it had been tricked. It stopped approaching the trap and instead turned its gaze to the nearby woods, as if searching for something.
