Lei Xiao struggled to stand up, but found he couldn't move at all. Ning Yu slowly walked up to him, looking down at him without a trace of pity in her eyes.

"You..." Lei Xiao was about to speak when Ning Yu stepped on his foot.

"Is this what you call strength?" Ning Yu's tone was laced with sarcasm.

Lei Xiao was filled with shame and indignation, yet he was speechless. He knew he had lost, utterly and completely.

The other superhumans were terrified when they saw this. They had thought that with Lei Xiao's intervention, Ning Yu was doomed, but they never expected this outcome.

"Run!" Someone shouted, and the superhumans, no longer caring about anything else, turned and fled.

"Trying to leave? Too late!" Ning Yu sneered, and golden light burst forth from his body once more, transforming into beams of light that knocked down the fleeing superhumans one by one.

In an instant, the once-aggressive superhumans were all lying on the ground, groaning in pain. Ning Yu stood in the center of the battlefield, exuding a chilling aura like a god of death. He slowly raised his head, looking into the distance, his eyes flashing with unwavering determination.

"I'm back..." he murmured softly, his voice carrying a hint of weariness, a touch of emotion, and an unspeakable determination...

As the smoke cleared, the battlefield was a scene of utter devastation. Ning Yu looked around to make sure no enemy remained standing before heading towards the energy source emitting a strange light.

As he drew closer, the energy source shone even brighter, as if responding to his call. Ning Yu took a deep breath, channeling his inner power to try and establish a connection with this mysterious force.

With a soft sound, the energy source vibrated violently, its light blazing brightly, almost illuminating the entire canyon. At the same time, Ning Yu felt his consciousness being sucked into a strange space filled with violent energy, as if it would tear him apart at any moment.

However, just as he was about to lose his way, a familiar system notification sounded in his mind: "High concentration of energy detected, absorb?"

"Absorb!" Ning Yu gave the order without hesitation.

The next moment, he felt a massive surge of energy enter his body, cleansing his meridians and reshaping his physique. A wave of excruciating pain washed over him, and Ning Yu gritted his teeth, enduring the agonizing agony that was enough to drive anyone to despair.

After an unknown amount of time, the energy finally subsided, and Ning Yu's body underwent a tremendous transformation. He felt filled with power, and every move he made carried a world-destroying force.

"Is this... true power?" Ning Yu clenched his fist, his eyes gleaming.

He looked at the energy source and found that the once radiant energy body had become dim and lifeless, clearly indicating that he had absorbed all the energy within it. With a thought, Ning Yu caused the energy body to transform into a stream of light and merge into his body.

Having done all this, Ning Yu turned and left the canyon, embarking on his journey home. Every step he took was firm and powerful, as if the whole world was beneath his feet.

"He's back!" The guards on the camp's watchtower were the first to spot Ning Yu and shouted excitedly.

Soon, the camp gates opened, and everyone crowded around, curiously eyeing Ning Yu. They all wanted to know how the mission had gone, and whether Ning Yu had successfully brought back what they desperately needed.
