The female protagonist transmigrated into a novel she wrote herself, playing the role of a vixenish supporting character. In the book, she caused trouble until her death on the streets, and her act...

Chapter 141 Zheng Yan's Husband

Bai Ying blushed and whispered, "Brother is very amazing."

Lin Wanwan was so angry she almost fainted. "I'll strangle you! You're just showing off your brother on purpose!"

Bai Ying laughed and hid behind Zheng Yan, "I'm not helping you, you're just deliberately trying to annoy us."

Bai Ying stammered, "I...I didn't mean to."

Lin Wanwan said bluntly, "Treat us to dessert tomorrow, and I'll spare your life."

Bai Ying smiled happily, "Okay, what do you want to eat? I'll go buy it, and I'll buy a lot so that Sister Yanyan's child can eat it too."

"Then I'll thank you on their behalf, Auntie."

Lin Wanwan stood up and said, "I'm going to comfort my son. Remember to call me when Lu Feng comes back."

When Lu Feng returned, Lin Wanwan was still telling Tuanzi a story. The picture book in her hand was drawn by Lin Wanwan herself.

Lu Feng greeted Song's mother as soon as he entered the room, then walked to the bedside and put his arm around Lin Wanwan's shoulder.

"Quickly say goodnight to your baby," Lin Wanwan said, looking up at Lu Feng.

Lu Feng cooperated and whispered, "Goodnight, Tuanzi."

Lin Wanwan lowered her head and kissed him. "Baby, goodnight. Have breakfast with Mom and Dad tomorrow morning."

Tuanzi hugged her neck and kissed her, then closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Lin Wanwan got up and whispered to Song Lanzhi, "Mom, we still have to go to the station. You go to sleep first, don't wait for us."

Song Lanzhi nodded and told them to be careful.

Sitting in the car, Zheng Yan was still trying to persuade her, "Why don't I go by myself? You're heavily pregnant, don't come with me."

"I'm not with you, I'm with my husband," she said, smiling at Lu Feng.

Lu Feng nodded in a good mood and said, "It's alright, it won't take long."

"Lu Feng, you go in with her. I won't go in and squeeze in. I'll wait for you in the car."

Zheng Yan stood at the exit for twenty minutes, but still didn't see anyone, so she paced anxiously.

"It's okay, I asked, the train is just delayed," Lu Feng comforted him.

Zheng Yan nodded to him, "Thank you, thank you and Wanwan for keeping me company so late at night."

"It's alright. You and Wanwan are friends, and you're my friend too. I'm so grateful for the care you gave Wanwan before, and I haven't even had a chance to properly thank you. You don't need to be so polite."

Zheng Yan laughed heartily, "I like her. She's beautiful, has a good temper, and is good to her friends."

Lu Feng smiled as he heard her praising his wife.

Zheng Yan thought for a moment and then spoke up, "Don't mind what I said in Bai Ying's room that day. I didn't know the situation and just talked nonsense. It even caused you and Wanwan to quarrel. I've been wanting to apologize to you in person."

"It has nothing to do with you, it's just that I'm being petty."

As Ren Zijie emerged from the station exit, he saw his wife talking to a man from afar, and his face darkened.

Zheng Yan turned around and saw him coming out carrying the child.

“Honey, over here,” Zheng Yan waved to him.

Ren Zijie's expression softened considerably as he carried the two children over.

"Mommy, Mommy," Ren Yingying hugged Zheng Yan's leg and called for her mother pitifully.

Zheng Yan picked her up and asked, "Yingying, did you miss Mommy?"

"I miss my mom."

Ren Zijie stood next to Zheng Yan, holding the child, and sized up the man in front of him.

Lu Feng was also sizing him up, and seeing the hostile look in his eyes, Lu Feng simply raised an eyebrow.

Zheng Yan quickly introduced them, "Zijie, this is Wanwan's lover, his name is Lu Feng."

Ren Zijie extended his hand generously, "Hello, thank you for taking care of my wife and for picking us up."

Lu Feng reached out his hand to Ren Zijie, "Hello, no need to be so polite. My wife and your wife are good friends, it's only right that we take care of her."

Lu Feng took his luggage and said, "Let's go, let's go out first. My wife is still waiting outside. She's pregnant, so it's not good for her to come in and squeeze in."

Lin Wanwan was standing by the car waiting for them when Lu Feng quickly went over and asked, "Why aren't you waiting in the car?"

"I noticed you hadn't come back for a while, so I was just about to go in and look for you."

Ren Yingying blinked at her, and Lin Wanwan smiled at her, "Hello, what's your name?"

"My name is Yingying, Auntie, you are so pretty."

"Really? Then who's prettier, me or your mom?"

Lin Wanwan saw her tilting her head in thought, but didn't urge her. She just smiled at her.

Ren Yingying hugged Zheng Yan and said softly, "My mother is the most beautiful."

Lin Wanwan pinched her cheek and smiled, "I think you're prettier."

Ren Yingying happily called out "Auntie".

Lu Feng put his luggage away, opened the car door and said, "Get in the car, let's go home and get something to eat first, and you guys get some rest."

Sitting in the car, Ren Yingying looked around curiously. "Auntie, this car is so small."

"Really? Then when Auntie earns money, I'll buy you a big car to ride in, okay?"

Lin Wanwan saw that she wasn't shy at all and was incredibly cute, so she turned to Zheng Yan and said, "Your daughter is prettier than you."

They arrived home in no time, and Lin Wanwan asked the housekeeper to bring the food to the dining room.

"Lu Feng, you take them to their room. I'm going to check on how Auntie is preparing the meal."

Lin Wanwan and her aunt put the food on the table, and soon Lu Feng also came over.

"They'll be over soon after they've tidied up. Do you want to wash up first? You must be exhausted."

Lin Wanwan nodded; she was indeed a little tired.

"You eat with them, I'll go wash up by myself."

Lu Feng was a little worried that she might slip and fall while taking a bath by herself.

But it seemed impolite to leave guests to eat alone in the restaurant, so I could only nod and say, "Then just call me if you need anything."

Lin Wanwan said with a laugh, "What could possibly happen?"
