After washing up, Lin Wanwan saw that Lu Feng hadn't returned yet, so she put on a light coat and went out to look for him.
As soon as she opened the door, she saw several people coming out of the dining room. Zheng Yan saw her and asked in surprise, "Why aren't you asleep yet?"
"I just finished washing up. You guys should get some rest. We can talk about it tomorrow."
After the group separated, Lu Feng quickly washed up and lay back on the bed, holding Lin Wanwan and letting out a comfortable sigh.
"I miss you so much. It's only been two weeks since we last met, but it feels like an eternity. There were so many people today, and I didn't even have a chance to give you a proper hug."
Lin Wanwan turned around and hugged him, "I missed you too."
Lin Wanwan snuggled against him and found a comfortable position to lie down.
"I haven't even asked you yet. Last weekend you didn't come home, saying there was something going on at school. What could possibly be going on at the start of the semester? Were you doing something behind my back?"
Lu Feng paused for a moment before denying it, "No, it's just that something came up at school."
"Then tell me what happened at school?"
"How do you know everything? Did you plant a spy next to me?"
"Never mind that for now, tell me what you were doing first?"
Lu Feng hesitated whether or not to tell her.
Seeing him like this, Lin Wanwan sat up straight and looked at him, "Husbands and wives should be honest with each other. Do you want me to keep worrying about you?"
"Gu Bei and I went to put sacks on Li Jun and beat him up. He and Yin Meiyue were too despicable. I was just giving them a taste of their own medicine. I used their methods to scheme against them."
Lin Wanwan became even more curious, "What did you do?"
"You should be able to hear the gossip in a few days."
No matter how much Lin Wanwan asked, Lu Feng wouldn't say a word.
Lin Wanwan could only say, "Then have you been careful, making sure no one has any leverage over you?"
"Don't worry, they'd never guess it was me and Gu Bei who did it."
