Chapter 142 The New Courtyard

Lin Wanwan yawned, nodded and said, "As long as you know what's going on, just be careful. Even if you don't want me involved, at least tell me so I can have a plan."

"Yes, I'll be careful. I just don't want you to worry about these things. I feel like it's an insult to your ears to tell you."

Lin Wanwan found it amusing, propped herself up, looked at him, and said, "We are husband and wife, and I will take responsibility even if you don't say it."

Lu Feng pinched her cheek. "Say this to yourself. We are husband and wife, one. If you don't tell me something, I will worry, feel guilty, and blame myself."

Lin Wanwan chuckled softly, said nothing, and gently kissed him.

Lu Feng tightened his arms and returned her kiss tenderly. Only when Lin Wanwan was out of breath did Lu Feng release her.

"Go to sleep, you have to get up early tomorrow."

Lin Wanwan hummed softly, found a comfortable position, and fell into a deep sleep.

When Lin Wanwan woke up in the morning, she saw Tuanzi lying obediently on the pillow waiting for her.

"Baby, what are you doing here?" Lin Wanwan reached out and hugged him, giving him a kiss.

When Tuanzi saw that she was awake, she excitedly hugged her and kissed her face, "Mommy~"

Lin Wanwan teased him on the bed for a while before Lu Feng came in.

Seeing the two playing around on the bed, he chuckled and asked, "Awake?"

"Hmm, when did you bring Tuanzi back? Why didn't you call me?"

Lu Feng walked to the bedside, lowered his head and kissed her, "Didn't he make a fuss about you a dozen minutes ago?"

"No, when I woke up, he was lying quietly on the pillow waiting for me."

Lin Wanwan kissed Tuanzi again, "Isn't that right? My baby is the cutest."

Tuanzi rubbed against her, and Lin Wanwan reached out to Lu Feng, "Honey, get up."

Lin Wanwan hugged his neck and kissed him. Lu Feng had been smiling ever since he entered the room.

"What are you laughing at? In a good mood?"

Lu Feng lowered his head and kissed her. "Mmm, seeing you makes me feel especially good."

"Go outside, are you waiting for me to have breakfast?"

"Ren and the others just got up too, they must be exhausted from the journey."

At the dinner table, Song Lanzhi urged the two children to eat, "Yingying and Haohao, eat more. Tell Grandma what you like to eat."

Ren Hao ran straight to Song Lanzhi's side and tugged at her clothes, "Grandma, hug me."

Song Lanzhi was overjoyed and picked him up, kissing him. "What do you want to eat?"

Ren Hao pointed to the small soup dumplings on the table, "Grandma, eat these."

Song Lanzhi picked one up and put it in his bowl, saying, "Be careful, it's hot."

Zheng Yan was a little embarrassed. "Auntie, don't mind him. Let him eat by himself. He'll get your clothes dirty."

Song Lanzhi waved her hand, "The clothes are dirty, so they can be washed. What does it matter? Yingying, what else would you like to eat?"

Ren Yingying called out to her with a smile, "Grandma, I want to eat that sweet one from last night."

Zheng Yan scolded her sternly, "Yingying, that's rude. Didn't Mom tell you that you can't just ask people for things when you go out?"

Ren Yingying pouted and lowered her head to drink the porridge in her bowl.

"It's okay, Yingying. Grandma isn't an outsider. Just tell Grandma what you like to eat, and we'll have something sweet for lunch, okay?"

Ren Zijie said, "Aunt Song, thank you so much."

"It's alright, it's alright. You can go and do your own things without worry. Leave the child to me."

Ren Hao held the steamed bun to Song Lanzhi's lips, saying, "Grandma, eat this, it's not too hot anymore."

Song Lanzhi was overjoyed, "Okay, Grandma will eat, thank you Hao Hao."

Lin Wanwan saw that Tuanzi kept looking at Song Lanzhi and wanted to laugh. The little guy was suddenly feeling sorry for his grandmother, whose attention had been entirely on other people this morning. He was a little unaccustomed to it.

"Sweetie, how about Mommy feeds you fish porridge?"

Upon hearing Lin Wanwan's voice, Tuanzi's eyes crinkled with laughter. Grandma and all that, nothing is more important than Mom.

After feeding him a small bowl of fish porridge, Lin Wanwan gave him a small steamed bun and patted his little belly.

Feigning surprise, she asked, "Tuanzi, why has your belly gotten so big? Did you eat too much?"

Tuanzi didn't know how to answer, she just giggled.

Lin Wanwan leaned back in her chair, revealing her belly. "Wow, Tuanzi's belly is as round as Mommy's."

Tuanzi immediately hugged Lin Wanwan's belly and kissed it, "Little brother~"

Lu Feng, who was standing next to him, was surprised. "What did you say?"

Tuanzi smiled and took Lu Feng's hand, placing it on Lin Wanwan's belly, saying, "Daddy, little brother."

Lin Wanwan looked at him and pointed to her belly, saying, "This is my little sister."

"Mommy, little brother~ little brother~"

Lu Feng and Lin Wanwan exchanged a smile. Whether it was their younger brother or sister, they were all their precious children.

"Honey, is there anything else you'd like to eat?"

Unexpectedly, Tuanzi followed Lin Wanwan's example, leaning back in her chair and rubbing her belly, saying, "I'm full."

Everyone was amused by him, and Zheng Yan said with a smile, "They say kids have the sharpest tongues, why don't you go to the hospital to get them checked out?"

Lin Wanwan shook her head, "I don't want to look anymore. Son or daughter, it's fine. Lu Feng and I both like them."

Lu Feng reached out and patted her head, and Lin Wanwan smiled at him.

Seeing that the two had a good relationship and didn't seem to be arguing at all, Song Lanzhi felt much more at ease.

After finishing their meal, Lu Feng prepared to drive Ren Zijie and Zheng Yan to the other courtyard to take a look.

The two little ones clung to Song Lanzhi and had a great time playing with Tuanzi in the main room.

Lin Wanwan leaned against the car with a smile and said, "It's okay, let the child stay here. You take your luggage and go pack first. Come back for dinner tonight and then take the child with you."

Zheng Yan leaned closer to her, a little embarrassed, "Wanwan, thank you so much. You gave us a place to live and treated us to a meal."
