The female protagonist transmigrated into a novel she wrote herself, playing the role of a vixenish supporting character. In the book, she caused trouble until her death on the streets, and her act...
In the end, Lin Wanwan didn't know how her two uncles discussed it, but her eldest uncle decided to run a transportation business, and her second uncle went back to Jiangnan to open a clothing store.
He Zhi had discussed the specific plans with Lin Wanwan, and Lin Wanwan agreed. Opening a store was not the ultimate goal or the main source of income; He Zhi had bigger plans and goals.
Lin Wanwan clicked her tongue in admiration after hearing this. She thought, "Old ginger is spicier. She sees things more clearly, has a longer-term vision, and her plans are more meticulous."
My eldest uncle is temporarily staying in Beijing to run a transportation business. He has no experience, so he has to start everything from scratch.
Lin Wanwan returned home and spent only a few days with her grandparents before getting busy again. She had to report to Hu Qing's place and also handle company matters.
Gao Mingcheng and Zhang Hong can't come back from Pengcheng, so this whole mess in Beijing depends on Lin Wanwan and Zhong Ping.
Zhong Ping may seem glib and smooth-talking, but he is very reliable and adept at maintaining relationships.
Lin Wanwan was at least able to catch her breath; otherwise, she would have been exhausted.
Progress in Pengcheng is going very smoothly. Ren Zijie has been handling a lot of business at the new factory. Lin Wanwan often sighs that she's really lucky to have such a good business partner.
With no immediate need for her to work in Beijing, Lin Wanwan fully dedicated herself to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Lin Wanwan ran into an old acquaintance here, Jin Ling, a senior from Peking University whom she met at a Ministry of Foreign Affairs event last summer.
It just so happens that both of them work in Hu Qing's department. Lin Wanwan only realized this after she came to work here: Hu Qing is her senior's direct supervisor.
Lin Wanwan has been under a lot of pressure lately, as many people know about her relationship with Cheng Jinyan.
She and Jinling used to get along quite well; Lin Wanwan even invited Jinling out for fun last summer.
Lin Wanwan initially thought they would get along well, but after working together for only a few days, she could clearly sense Jin Ling's hostility towards her.
She could roughly guess what was going on, and then Lin Wanwan treated her as an ordinary colleague, maintaining a distant demeanor except for work-related interactions.
I don't know what Jinling was thinking, but seeing Lin Wanwan like this, she couldn't hold back anymore.
Lin Wanwan was stopped by Jin Ling on her way back to her office after leaving Hu Qing's office.
Do you have a problem with me?
Her words nearly made Lin Wanwan's CPU burn out.
Lin Wanwan tilted her head and asked in confusion, "What do you mean, 'where do you begin'?"
"Why didn't you help me get the documents I asked you to?"
Lin Wanwan was so angry at her self-righteous attitude that she almost laughed.
"Because I have my own work to do, and besides, who says I have to help you?"
“We work together and help each other out, what’s wrong with that? You’ve helped me before.”
"Does helping you in the past mean I have to keep helping you? Do you live in the Forbidden City? How domineering!"
Jin Ling, true to her principles, stared at her without saying a word.
Lin Wanwan ignored her and walked away.
As soon as Lin Wanwan turned the corner, she saw Cheng Jinyan standing there.
"What are you doing here, Director Cheng?"
Cheng Jinyan looked down and chuckled, "Did you have a fight with her?"
"Who has time to argue? I'm very busy."
Cheng Jinyan raised his chin. "Then what's going on?"
Lin Wanwan rolled her eyes. "He's just jealous of me. Who can stand seeing my senior brother who's so amazing, so handsome, and so good to me?"
Cheng Jinyan couldn't stop laughing.
"Is watching the show fun?"
Lin Wanwan looked at him and said.
"It's alright, quite funny."
"Then you have to make it up to me. I've done something terrible. Is being good-looking a sin?" Lin Wanwan said, touching her face.
Cheng Jinyan lowered his head and continued to laugh.
"I wanted to eat dessert, and my young heart was deeply hurt."
"I bought it. It's in my office. Go eat it yourself."
Lin Wanwan gave him a knowing look and ran off happily.
Cheng Jinyan's secretary was very familiar with her and greeted her with a smile when she arrived.
Lin Wanwan smiled and generously cut her a piece of cake.
“If you eat it, you can’t tell on me,” Lin Wanwan joked.
"Who should I complain to? Our bureau chief? Do I look like a fool?"
"Hahaha," Lin Wanwan laughed, "Our Secretary Qin is beautiful, kind-hearted, smart and capable, how could she be stupid?"
Qin Anna was very pleased with her flattery; being praised for her beauty by a beautiful woman was much more pleasant than being praised for her beauty by a smelly man.
While eating the cake, Qin Anna asked, "Why don't you ever go inside to eat? Although not many people come here, isn't it safer inside?"
"Am I that stupid? What if someone tries to frame me and accuse me of stealing secrets? I'm not going to his office. I have so many admirers, and I'm already married. They still see me as a rival. If I were to spend all my time in his office, they'd skin me alive."
Qin Anna couldn't help but chuckle, "That's true, our bureau chief is rich and handsome."
"Tsk, what a sly old fox."
Cheng Jinyan walked over and tapped her on the head.
"Who's the old fox?"
After finishing the last bite of her meal and taking a sip of tea, Lin Wanwan stood up, holding the documents, and spoke.
"Director, I'll get to work right away and I definitely won't slack off."
Watching her retreating figure, Cheng Jinyan lowered his head and smiled.
Turning around, he realized Qin Anna was still there and looked down at her.
I noticed she hadn't even looked up; she was writing something on the table.
Cheng Yanjin ignored her and went back to his office.
Qin Anna, standing outside the door, broke out in a cold sweat.
She had worked so hard to get this position, and she didn't want to be demoted just because she knew something she shouldn't have.
When Lin Wanwan returned to the office, Jin Ling had already returned as well.
