There hasn't been much work at her workplace lately, so Lin Wanwan hasn't been too busy. She goes to pick up her child from school every day.

Just as Lin Wanwan was about to leave work that day, she saw Cheng Jinyan passing by the office.

Looking around and seeing no one, she immediately ran out to call him.

Cheng Jinyan found her expression incredibly amusing. "Are you doing something like a thief?"

"No, you don't want to become the center of gossip, do you?"

Cheng Jinyan looked down at her and smiled, "Looking for me?"

"Of course! Haven't you been to your grandparents' house for a meal in a long time?"

Cheng Jinyan raised an eyebrow at her.

“I went to my godmother’s house for dinner this weekend and invited my grandparents. They said they hadn’t seen you in a long time and that they weren’t busy lately, so could you be a little more considerate?”

Cheng Jinyan found it incredibly amusing to see her looking around while speaking.

"Okay, I'm planning to go back today."

Lin Wanwan looked up and glared at him. "Then why aren't you off work yet? Can't you be more considerate? How old are your grandparents? What are you doing moving out? It's not far from there."

Cheng Jinyan chuckled for a while, then flicked her forehead with his finger and adjusted his glasses before speaking.

“I’m almost forty, do you think I’m in my twenties? I need to have my own life.”

Lin Wanwan immediately looked enlightened and patted his arm, "I understand, I know."

Cheng Jinyan chuckled, rubbing his forehead. "What do you know?"

"I understand, I understand. Remember to go back, or I and your grandparents will catch you."

After saying that, Lin Wanwan ran off, saying, "I'm leaving. Tuanzi and Yuanyuan will be home from school soon."
