The castle commander muttered to himself, bewildered, "What are these people up to?! Did they send a negotiating envoy?"

A few seconds later, the commander's eyes widened, his mouth involuntarily opening to its widest point, and he was so frightened by the scene before him that he sat down on the bed with a thud.

The warrior's shadow, illuminated by the flames, slowly lengthened and grew larger. Sharp iron claws, jet-black scales, a massive body... In just a few seconds, a tiny human had transformed into a monster over four meters tall.

Weapons clashed against shields, and armored soldiers pounded the ground. A thunderous roar of cheers and praise erupted from the enemy ranks, as everyone shouted a strange name.

Mithrgus (Northern language: Son of the Gods)

The castle commander stumbled to his feet and shouted at the stunned guards, "Attack! What are you all standing there for?! Use every weapon in your hands to attack that monster!"

Arrows and stones rained down on the dark monster.

The latter let out a startling roar into the sky, then sprawled on all fours and charged toward the castle gates.

Possessing astonishing speed and immense strength, the monster's body was like a speeding tank, crashing heavily into the tightly closed city gate.

The ground of the entire town trembled, and cracks appeared in the stone walls of the castle.

Before the defenders could react, the fanatical warriors followed the monster's lead, striding forward and charging toward the city gate.

The commander, who had fallen to the ground from the shock, brandished his weapon and roared hysterically, "Kill that monster! We can't let him break down the city gates!"

Logs and stones were thrown down from the top of the wall.

The monster, struck on the head by these heavy objects, merely shook its head uncomfortably. Then, angrily, it raised its head, opened its massive, ancient lizard-like maw, and spewed a frosty aura towards the defenders on the city wall. Soon, the sound of ice shattering echoed from the city wall, and the defenders' attack vanished almost instantly.

The monster lowered its body, exerted force with its limbs, and slammed heavily into the dilapidated city gate once again.

Finally, with a loud bang, the city gate collapsed.

The monster reverted to human form, stood at the city gate, and looked at the group of terrified guards before it, without making any move.

Amidst the billowing smoke, a group of ferocious warriors rushed past him through the collapsed city gate, launching a tidal wave of attacks on the defenders.
