Walking a few dozen meters further, the view suddenly opened up, and Todd came to a steep mountain path. In front of him was a huge, naturally formed pit, and several dozen meters above his head was a narrow pit opening that was a dozen meters wide.

The blinding sunlight shone down from the pit's opening and into the pit, but it did nothing to dispel the darkness within.

Passenger, being escorted by two alien beings, smiled wryly at Todd and said, "Lord Boyle, I'm willing to share all the secrets I know with you, yet you still won't believe me?"

Todd smiled and gestured for the alien soldier to release the guy: "Alright, I'd like to hear your introduction about this place."

Having broken free of his restraints, Fugal twisted his aching wrists, nodded slightly, and said, "Before I begin, please allow me to show you something."

After obtaining Todd's permission, Fulgari lay down on the ground, signaling everyone to be quiet and absolutely not to make a sound. Then, he picked up a grape-sized pebble from the ground and carefully threw it into the Abyss.

The sound of pebbles hitting the mountain wall echoed continuously in the pit.

After waiting for several seconds, the echo from the pebble disappeared.

About half a minute later, just when Todd thought Fulgari was playing a trick on him, suddenly, a deafening roar of a wild beast echoed throughout the entire pit.
