Chapter 764 The Day of Revelation (Part Two)

Like a black tsunami, the spider necromancers instantly engulfed the entire army.

The bulletproof vests worn by soldiers are less effective against these fast-moving, agile small undead than the armor worn by medieval knights.

Some soldiers only had time to fire two shots before being disemboweled by the undead; others were covered in undead and, in despair, detonated the grenades on their bodies.

General Hamilton watched all this, his pupils dilating with extreme fear.

He witnessed a spider-like undead jump onto an M3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and crawl directly into the vehicle from its firing position.

A moment later, a shrill scream came from inside the tank, and blood even splattered out from the tank's observation port.

General Hamilton trembled. He raised his pistol, about to shout something, when someone rushed over and pulled him away.

After running a few steps with the man, General Hamilton turned his head and realized that the other person was actually Major Cole.

Major Cole ran while turning back and firing his pistol repeatedly.

The spider-like undead that lunged at the two were all intercepted and killed in mid-air by the bullets he fired.

Taking advantage of the reduced number of pursuers, Major Cole reloaded his gun and shouted to General Hamilton, "We must get out of this area!"

General Hamilton, his lips trembling as he surveyed the carnage surrounding the White Hole, said, "Our soldiers..."

Major Cole: "Forget about those people! The situation here is out of control!"

Hamilton stopped, dug his fingers deep into his hair, his eyes bloodshot: "God, why did it have to come to this!"

Major Cole grabbed the general, trying to forcibly take him away from the scene, but was so shocked by what happened at the White Hole that he forgot to breathe.

A gigantic monster nearly a hundred meters long slowly crawled out of the white hole. Its entire body was covered with parasitic tentacles, and its huge, sharp limbs were like large knives that could easily cut through the armor of a tank.

The monster spread its bony wings on its back, and countless eyes on its tail stared at everything around it. From the spiral-shaped insect nest on its head, a large number of black parasites poured out, instantly filling the entire street.

A piercing and sharp roar echoed throughout the city.

After the shriek, the corpses that had been devoured and bitten to death by the undead rose from the ground.

Their bodies were covered with constantly writhing parasites, and apart from their original clothing, they could no longer be identified as human.

These infected humans slowly gathered around the Necromancer Mother, like ants, awaiting the Queen's command.

The Necromancer turned its body toward downtown Las Vegas, where the streets were bustling with traffic and people.

It turned its body, abandoning the soldiers who had scattered and fled, and instead led a large number of undead towards the main city.

Seeing all this, Hamilton shouted anxiously, "It wants to go to the city!"

Major Cole dashed into a Hummer and found the walkie-talkie in the passenger seat.

"Get me connected to Nellis Air Force Base! As soon as possible!"

Fifteen minutes later, two Predator drones took off from Nellis Air Force Base and sped toward Las Vegas.

Hiding in a building seven kilometers away from the White Hole, General Hamilton and Major Cole, holding binoculars, listened to reports on their walkie-talkies while waiting for the air raid to begin.

Soon, the roar of drones filled the sky.

The drone pilot's voice came through the walkie-talkie: "Headquarters, this is Falcon 1 and Falcon 2. We have reached the target area."

"The presence of the target has been confirmed on the monitor."

"Waiting for launch command."

Hamilton nodded to Cole.

The latter said into the walkie-talkie, "Launch!"

Four JAGM-32 (Joint Air-to-Surface Missiles) streaked across the sky, flying at high speed toward the location of the Necromancer Mother.

Seconds later, a huge explosion was heard from the direction of downtown Las Vegas.

The rising flames and billowing smoke were clearly visible even from several kilometers away.

"All hits! Repeat! All hits!"

Hamilton held up his binoculars and looked toward the horde of corpses.

After the smoke and flames slowly dissipated, the enormous figure of the Necromancer Mother remained completely unharmed; the attack had had no effect on it.

Major Cole turned pale and looked at General Hamilton, saying, "We need bigger bombs."

The latter asked in a trembling voice, "How big of a bomb do you think it would be to stop that monster?"

Major Cole thought for a moment and gave his answer: "The biggest one."

Hamilton took a deep breath and said to the soldier beside him, "Get me connected to the White House."

In the distance, the sounds of collapsing buildings and screams of people echoed through the city.

Standing on the rooftop, Major Cole watched the enormous monster in the city, devouring all living things, and growing larger and larger.

He could hear General Hamilton's voice speaking to the White House.

"I told you, ordinary weapons don't work on him!"

"We need to use nuclear weapons! Yes, you heard me, nuclear weapons!"

"No, I'm not crazy!"

"I sent you the video a long time ago. You saw what that monster looked like. Nuclear weapons are our last resort!"

"A meeting?! That monster can turn hundreds of corpses into zombies every second, and you're telling me you need a meeting to authorize it?!"
