Chapter 777 The Alien Knights (Part 2) (The Finale)

Earth, North Las Vegas Ruins.

Twenty years after the Singularity Virus outbreak.

On the overgrown road, a modified motorcycle is speeding towards a collapsed building in the distance.

The radio on the motorcycle was playing a man's voice.

"Twenty years ago, a deadly virus swept the globe, wiping out 96 percent of the world's population."

"The once bustling city has become a deserted ruin, and the once advanced civilization has never shone again."

"Some say it was a government experiment, while others say it was an alien invasion."

"In my opinion, all of that is bullshit."

"This virus is Mother Earth's revenge on us! It's revenge on us fools who are obsessed with technology and have forgotten the gods!"

"We must learn to rediscover faith and find a new way to live in harmony with nature."

"Those infected are not victims; they have simply returned to the embrace of the Earth God!"

"Respect them, respect death, respect your mother, and only then can your soul be redeemed!"

"My brothers and sisters, join the Eclipse Cult."

"I am your Pope Camelot Haines, remember! My eyes are always watching over you from the sky!"

The motorcyclist turned off the radio, slowed down, and approached a large supermarket that was half collapsed next to the road.

The rider parked the motorcycle in an open space dozens of meters away from the supermarket, took off his helmet, revealing a pair of striking green eyes, and long golden hair that cascaded down his shoulders like a waterfall.

He took a pistol and ammunition from the side pocket and then took his backpack off the back seat.

The blonde woman carefully examined the outdoor ground, then found a hidden entrance and went into the supermarket.

Looking at the empty shelves and the dried bloodstains on the walls, the blonde woman slowed her pace.

A child's cry came from deep inside the supermarket, attracting the woman's attention.

Following the sound of crying, the woman walked down a dimly lit corridor into a huge, dilapidated warehouse that was light coming through from all sides.

A boy dressed in tattered children's clothes sat on the ground in the middle of the warehouse with his back to the entrance, covering his eyes with his hands and crying softly.

The woman first looked up and glanced around, then carefully approached the boy from behind.

The woman stopped when she was less than ten meters away from the boy.

After a brief pause, the woman suddenly raised her pistol, pointed it at the boy's back, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

A loud gunshot rang out, and the boy fell to the ground.

Using the light from the wall, the woman finally saw the boy's face clearly.

That wasn't a boy at all; his face was covered in a beard, and his features were squeezed together, clearly indicating that he was a congenitally short dwarf.

Just then, a series of hurried footsteps sounded from all around.

Someone shouted, "She's found out! She's found out!"

Someone else shouted, "She's all alone! Attack her together!"

The blonde woman raised her pistol, took a few steps back, and showed no sign of panic in her water-green eyes.

Moments later, a group of ragged, menacing thugs surrounded her.

Someone recognized the woman's face and laughed heartily, "Such high-class stuff is a first for me!"

The leader of the thugs kicked aside the dwarf's corpse on the ground, slowly walked towards the woman, and shouted viciously, "Drop your gun! Or die!"

A voice from the crowd shouted, "It can be used whether you're alive or dead, and you can even eat it after you're done using it!"

The woman narrowed her eyes slightly, glancing around as she counted softly, "One, two, three, four..."

Upon noticing the woman's behavior, the leader asked suspiciously, "What are you doing?"

The woman smiled slightly: "These people should be all there are, right?"

The leader: "You...?"

Before he could finish speaking, a gunshot suddenly rang out from outside the warehouse's high walls.

The bullet pierced through a hole in the wall and accurately struck the gang leader in the head.

As the leader fell and the others were still in shock, gunshots rang out one after another outside the wall.

The thugs, who didn't have time to find cover, couldn't even turn around and run away, and one by one they became victims of gunfire.

Half an hour later, the blonde woman sat on a wooden crate in the warehouse, touching the pendant on her chest while watching her companions take stock of the thieves' hideout.

A middle-aged woman in her forties, wearing a work vest, approached the blonde woman and said, "Alice, you had a good day."

The young woman called Alice nodded, indicating that she wanted to hear the list of spoils.

"148 cans of food, 33 gallons of clean water, 23 guns of various sizes, but a bit short of bullets."

"A simple metal processing table, with about a ton of scrap metal in stock."

"These guys have a diesel generator, it's a bit old, but it works."

"Also... there's a cold storage room behind the supermarket with some frozen meat hanging inside, but believe me, you wouldn't want to touch it."

Alice's eyes turned cold: "Liz, these bastards deserve to die!"

Liz nodded: "They deserved to die."

Turning her head to glance at her companions who were carrying goods behind her, Liz leaned closer to Alice and whispered, "Last week, a group of Eclipse Cult members infiltrated our camp to try to preach, but they were driven out by Matt."

Alice frowned. "Is there something wrong with this?"
