(Apocalypse + Rebirth + Space + Hoarding + Ruthless Character + Golden Finger)
Xiao Yi, a ruthless King of Soldiers who struggled for five years in the apocalypse, was betrayed by his comrade...
The wound was hideous and horrible, with the skin and flesh turned outward, but Xiao Yi didn't care about the piercing pain. His eyes were still firm and fierce, as if he was not the one injured.
He didn't have time to check his wound, not even a second to pause. He just gritted his teeth, letting the blood continue to flow, his hands still tightly grasping the weapon, desperately resisting the enemy's attack.
Every pull of the trigger was accompanied by a roar of rage within him. He poured all his pain and anger into the counterattack, as if his determination and courage could make up for the physical pain.
Sweat mixed with blood blurred his vision, but he blinked hard, not letting it affect his fighting. His injured arm trembled from the constant exertion, but he seemed to feel nothing and continued to shoot frantically, vowing to fight the enemy to the end.
The ammunition boxes that were originally piled up in the car were now empty. Xiao Yi's eyes swept over the few remaining ammunition, and a wave of despair surged in his heart.
Every shot that consumed more ammunition made his heart sink. There were only a few bullets left, and only a few grenades remained, emitting a final threat in the corner.
As the ammunition gradually dwindled, the mercenaries seemed to sense Xiao Yi's predicament and their attacks became more reckless. The firepower became more intense, and bullets rained down on the armored vehicle, making it almost impossible for Xiao Yi to raise his head.
Xiao Yi's breathing became more and more rapid. He knew clearly that the moment his ammunition ran out, it would be the countdown to his life. But he was unwilling to give in like this, and his eyes still flashed with an unyielding light.
He began to shoot more carefully, calculating the use of each bullet, trying to make the most of his limited ammunition. However, the enemy was so numerous and powerful that his efforts seemed so small and powerless.
As time passed, the ammunition in the car became less and less, and Xiao Yi's situation became more and more critical, as if he had fallen into an inescapable death trap.
At this critical moment, a bullet whizzed and hit the tire of the armored vehicle. There was a loud "bang" and the tire exploded instantly, and rubber fragments flew everywhere.
The armored vehicle, having lost its tire support, immediately lost control and began to shake violently. Xiao Yi gripped the steering wheel tightly, trying to regain control of the vehicle, but it was too late.
The armored vehicle rushed forward like a wild horse, with huge inertia. Xiao Yi's body was thrown back and forth, and his head hit the car window hard, and his eyes were full of stars.
The car rushed towards a thick tree at an alarming speed. With a deafening crash, the front of the car was deeply dented. The huge impact force made Xiao Yi's body rush forward suddenly. The seat belt was tightly wrapped around his chest, almost making him unable to breathe.
The windshield shattered instantly, and countless glass fragments attacked him like sharp knives. Xiao Yi instinctively used his arms to protect his face, but many fragments still scratched his skin, and blood instantly stained his sleeves red.
Thick smoke and the pungent smell of gasoline filled the car. The engine groaned in pain before shutting down completely. A deathly silence fell upon the surroundings, with only Xiao Yi's heavy breathing echoing in the small space. The massive impact struck Xiao Yi's head like a sledgehammer, and in an instant, the whole world seemed to spin. A strong sense of dizziness washed over him like a surging tide, blurring his vision and causing his head to buzz like countless bees.
His body slumped in the seat, his limbs weak and his consciousness becoming hazy. But in just a moment, the instinct for survival and the strong will to live ignited a raging fire in his heart.
Xiao Yi bit his lips hard, and the pain instantly spread throughout his body, making his mind clear. He shook his head vigorously, trying to get rid of the nauseating dizziness.
He took a few deep breaths, trying to steady his breathing, and his eyes gradually regained focus. He told himself that he couldn't just fall down like this, couldn't just give up like this.
Xiao Yi blinked hard, forcing himself to wake up. His eyes became firm and sharp again, and he began to quickly assess the situation in front of him, preparing to meet the next challenge.
Taking advantage of the brief pause of the mercenaries due to this sudden change, Xiao Yi acted without hesitation.
He pushed open the car door with trembling hands. The door had been deformed by the impact and made a teeth-grinding friction sound.
Xiao Yi quickly rolled out of the car. His body collided violently with the ground and pain instantly spread throughout his body, but he endured it without making a sound.
He rolled over and over on the ground like a nimble cheetah, not stopping until he rolled behind a large tree. His movements were smooth and seamless, without the slightest drag.
Hiding behind a large tree, Xiao Yi was breathing heavily, his heart pounding like a drum. His clothes were torn by branches and stones, and his body was covered with scratches and bruises, but he had no time to care.
He pressed himself tightly against the trunk, trying to blend his body into the tree and minimize exposure.
Xiao Yi's eyes vigilantly observed his surroundings, his ears listening for any sound that might signal danger. At that moment, his world seemed to consist only of the small amount of shelter provided by the tree and the sound of his extremely nervous breathing. Xiao Yi closed his eyes tightly and took a deep breath, letting the air, which smelled of earth and grass, fill his chest. He tried to calm his rapidly beating heart and quiet his frantic thoughts.
