Carl remained silent, observing the interaction between the two.

He knew Li Xin'er's good intentions in doing this, but it still surprised him.

This Li Xin'er was completely different from the Li Xin'er he knew, but she didn't seem out of place at all. Unconsciously, Carl's eyes became more and more gentle.
