But seeing Xiao Mu standing there, Shen Zhijie asked Jiang Yao with some confusion, "Why not let Xiao Mu go too?"

"Wouldn't that allow us to obtain supplies for two people?"

Jiang Yao pulled Shen Zhijie aside and said in a voice only the two of them could hear, "No one is more suitable for this task than you."

"Xiao Mu has other things to do."

Jiang Yao thought helplessly, "Do you think Xiao Mu is like you, able to fall into a snake pit?"

He Rui crossed his left arm over his chest and lightly touched his chin with his right. It seemed that he had really underestimated Shen Zhijie before. But did Shen Zhijie have some kind of secret weapon?

"However, they should be here soon. We need to agree on this beforehand: they can't run away!"

"I don't want to be free food."

He Rui felt like she hadn't heard Shen Zhijie's words clearly. "What did you say?"

Shen Zhijie smiled mysteriously: "I told you I was coming, and the snake will come looking for me soon."

After hearing Shen Zhijie's words, He Rui felt like he had been tricked, especially after seeing the giant snake. He cursed Jiang Yao and Shen Zhijie a hundred times in his heart.

He Rui's legs were trembling. He turned to Shen Zhijie in horror: "Why is it following you?"

He Rui never expected to fall into a trap himself. He shook his head and smiled bitterly, "Let's all prepare for battle."

"We won. We'll have smoked snake meat tonight."

He Rui's words were like a power switch; in an instant, everyone cheered excitedly and rushed towards the snake swarm.

"Meat."

"Meat."

There's nothing a meal of meat can't solve; if one meal isn't enough, then two will do.

Looking at the fighting strength before him, Shen Zhijie had to give a thumbs up to everyone's determination to eat meat.

Perhaps it was the first time the snakes had felt their own vulnerability. The aroma of meat wafted through the air above the wasteland, raising the intensity of the battle to a new level.

Shen Zhijie pointed to the giant snake in the distance and said to Da, "Quick, the giant snake is about to escape."

Shen Zhijie's narrow eyes narrowed slightly, emitting a cold light, and a sneer gradually appeared on his lips as he pointed at the giant snake, "Take it down, and we'll have a bonfire and smoked snake meat party tonight."

A fierce gunfight ensued, accompanied by billowing flames, bringing this war for meat to an end.

Shen Zhijie showed off the technique he learned from Jiang Yao for distinguishing between poisonous and non-poisonous substances in front of He Rui and the others.

The moment Shen Zhijie saw Jiang Yao, he waved and said, "Jiang Yao, look inside," pointing to the giant snake behind the car.

Jiang Yao felt that Shen Zhijie was probably taking advantage of these people's obsession with meat to settle personal scores.

I never imagined that Shen Zhijie would use a borrowed knife to kill someone and resolve his own predicament.

After Shen Zhijie asked Jiang Yao for the points card, he exchanged his portion for points. After all, none of them were short of snake meat, so it was better to exchange it for points.
