In those deep black eyes, there is only ever room for one person, and that person is certainly not him. There is no lonelier love than a crush that cannot be spoken. No, this isn't even conside...
Chapter 3 (Part 1) Merlin's Visit
Si Qiang was startled. He was silent for a few seconds, then looked up and revealed a cold smile: "She is right. I wholeheartedly agree."
He had never spoken to Antonio like this before, making it all the more impactful at this moment. A hint of hurt flashed across Antonio's eyes, and he chuckled softly.
The atmosphere became somewhat tense. Si Qiang noticed his mood, snorted coldly, and was about to speak when someone suddenly pushed the door open and he reflexively turned around.
“Calvin!” Leander exclaimed as soon as he saw the two of them. “I’ve been looking for you. They said you seemed to be here.”
Si Qiang nodded, then turned to Antonio with a sarcastic smile: "See you in a month, brother-in-law."
Then he turned around, walked straight to the door, and left with Leander one after the other.
Antonio stared intently at the doorway. The man from the Miller family in South America, I think his name was… Leander. What was he doing here? Antonio wasn't familiar with him, but they had met a few times. So he knew Calvin! And they seemed to have a close relationship.
This discovery left him with a vague unease, but he had more pressing issues to deal with and no time to focus on the man. He glanced at his watch; the wedding was about to begin. The thought of the bride waiting for him filled him with dread. But the deed was done, and he had to prepare for what was to come.
“Calvin, I told you, it’s best to avoid contact with that man. He’s not someone to mess with.” As soon as they reached the secluded back garden, Leander spoke up, his tone tinged with reproach.
"Leander, you don't really have anything to talk to me about, do you?" Si Qiang raised an eyebrow and said calmly.
Leander sighed softly: "That person will definitely not let this go so easily. You need to be careful."
Si Qiang lowered her eyes: "I know. Thank you."
"Besides, I didn't come to you for no reason. Iris asked me to call you." Leander shrugged. "She's not entirely comfortable with this either."
Si Qiang chuckled: "I suddenly realized that Iris and her brother really don't get along." Iris almost never mentioned Antonio before, and with Antonio's words today, it's true that every family has its own problems.
The wedding proceeded smoothly in a seemingly peaceful atmosphere. As Si Qiang watched the newlyweds leave the church, a fierce glint flashed in her eyes.
Leander, standing beside him, noticed his expression, moved his lips, but ultimately said nothing.
Meanwhile, in New York City, Xu Qi stared at the electronic calendar in front of him, a silent smile playing on his lips. One month left.
A knock sounded on the door, and Xu Qi responded, "Come in."
Wei Lan pushed open the door and walked in, his expression somewhat serious: "Young Master, I just received news that A Yang's lover has run away."
Xu Qi's face darkened: "How's A-Yang? Haven't they found out that person's identity yet?"
Wei Lan gave a wry smile: "I found out. He's the youngest son of the Miller family in South America. As for A Yang... according to the second young master, things don't seem too good."
"Miller?" Xu Qi jumped to his feet. "How come the Miller family has a mixed-race child?"
Wei Lan shook her head: "I don't know either."
Xu Qi recalled that Leander, who was with Si Qiang, was also from the Miller family, and sighed inwardly at how he had recently been connected with the Miller family. However, there was no time to think about such things now. He frowned and asked in a deep voice, "What's important now is A-Yang's attitude. Have you sent someone to keep an eye on him?"
Ah Yang appears composed and refined, but in reality, he's easily impulsive when it comes to matters of the heart. He's especially irrational when it comes to relationships. The incident with Su Xibai is proof of that.
"I've already sent someone to follow him."
Xu Qi nodded: "Well done." He was quite confident in the strength of the "Dragon Nether" group.
"Also...Young Master," Wei Lan hesitated for a moment, but continued, "I just passed by downstairs and a young man was clamoring to see you. He said his name was...Merlin."
As he spoke, he stole glances at Xu Qi's expression. It was no wonder he was curious; after all, Merlin's face bore a striking resemblance to Si Qiang's. Not only was he startled when he saw it, but everyone passing by in the lobby downstairs couldn't help but take a second look.
Xu Qi felt a throbbing headache. Merlin? So that child really did come looking for him? It seems... that child's identity is not simple. He waved his hand: "I understand. Let him come up."
"Yes, young master." Wei Lan turned and went downstairs, his expression somewhat subtle.

What to do... I think this chapter is terribly written... *tears*
I really want to cut it all out! But I can't write anything I'm satisfied with...
