As Tang Yue was pondering, she keenly heard the sound of the person at the door moving their footsteps. Tang Yue had a bad feeling. Did they know that someone had fallen into the ditch and wanted to come out to check the situation?

Tang Yue didn't have time to think any further. She looked up at the height of the woodpile, secretly gathered her strength, and leaped up, accurately shooting the pebble in her hand at the person at the door.

The moment Tang Yue stepped over the woodpile, the man at the door seemed to sense something. However, he had been too relaxed, and with his gun pointed directly at the door, the pebble struck him precisely between the eyebrows the instant he turned the gun around. The gun slipped from the man's hand.

Tang Yue then noticed that both people in the courtyard were wearing black coats. Having spent the past two days in the hospital, she had gained a much better understanding of the world. Before any other thoughts could flash through her mind, the person at the door also noticed Tang Yue.

As the man at the door turned his gun, the man behind the door also turned his gun on Tang Yue. Just after Tang Yue threw a small pebble, the man at the door fired at her.

With a loud "bang," a gunshot rang out, the bullet whizzing past Tang Yue's ear and heading towards her back. After straightening herself, Tang Yue's heart pounded, but her eyes showed no fear, only calm and resolve.

Tang Yue's lips curled into a cold smile, while she praised the gun's speed, saying it was indeed a good weapon.

She dodged to the side, and with a flick of her finger, a pebble flew out with lightning speed, striking the wrist of the man at the gate. A muffled groan escaped his lips, and the man's pistol fell to the ground.

Standing on the courtyard wall, she struck again, sending another pebble flying. This time, her target was the man's forehead. The man already knew Tang Yue's weapon, but time was of the essence. He instinctively tilted his head to the left, and the pebble struck his right ear. He cried out in pain and bent over to pick up the pistol from the ground.

Tang Yue gave him no chance to catch his breath. Her figure shot down from the wall like a cheetah, leaping directly in front of the man and kicking him on the head.

The man groaned and collapsed to the ground. Tang Yue stepped forward again and delivered a powerful punch to his temple. The man made no further sound and died instantly.

Tang Yue quickly picked up the pistol from the ground and ran to the door to pick up another gun.

Tang Yue was incredibly fast. Just as she finished, Tang Bei and Tang Nan reached the gate and saw her bending down to pick up the last gun. They were both stunned.

They had just fallen into the ditch together, and in their panic, they hadn't even thought about their younger sister. It was only when Lin Cuicui was sobbing in disbelief that they realized their sister was missing.

In such a critical moment, this realization was like a bolt from the blue. Tang Shengkai was furious, and Lin Cuicui was about to climb over the ditch to look for him.

Tang Dong was the last to jump down. At the time, he thought the downward force had just made him a little dizzy, but now that his sister was really gone, he was terrified. Just as Tang Shengkai, disregarding his leg injury, was about to run uphill with Lin Cuicui, Tang Dong pointed tremblingly in the direction Tang Yue had run.

"Mom and Dad, I think I just saw my little sister running forward."

The voice wasn't loud, but in that tense moment, everyone clearly heard Tang Dong's words. Lin Cuicui looked ahead; wasn't that right below her house? Someone in her house was holding a gun and trying to kill them, and she was running that way—how dangerous!

Lin Cuicui no longer cared about the danger; her daughter was over there, and she had to go save her. Without saying a word, Lin Cuicui stumbled and ran towards the location.

Tang Shengkai also dragged his leg forward, but Tang Bei tugged at his father's sleeve. "Dad, wait here. Er Nan and I will go over first."

Old Li had already run forward. He glanced back at Tang Shengkai but didn't say anything.

Just as Lin Cuicui reached the bottom of the woodpile, she heard gunshots again. Her heart pounded in her chest, and she tried to climb up with her bare hands. However, the slope was vertical and difficult to climb, and she failed twice. But Lin Cuicui showed no sign of stopping.

Tang Bei and Tang Nan ran over just then. "Mom, let us go up first."

Lin Cuicui no longer cared that her two sons were still young; she thought of lifting them up so they could pull her up as well. Holding Tang Bei, she looked up and saw her little daughter leap onto the woodpile, disappearing into the distance.

Lin Cuicui nearly dropped Tang Bei. Tang Bei saw it too, and he swallowed hard. When did his sister become so formidable?

Lin Cuicui quickly composed herself; no matter what, she had to save her daughter. Tang Bei, with a burst of energy, pulled himself up using Lin Cuicui's strength. Old Li also lifted Tang Nan, but he was a few seconds too late, missing Tang Yue's spectacular leap.

Tang Bei casually pulled Tang Nan along, and as the two of them came up, they heard a man's muffled groan coming from the courtyard.

He ran off into the yard, completely forgetting about Lin Cuicui and Old Li at the bottom of the ditch.

When the two arrived at the courtyard gate, they saw Tang Yue bending down to pick up the gun. They selectively ignored the two corpses in the courtyard.

Tang Yue looked up and saw the Tang brothers, Tang Bei and Tang Nan, staring at her in shock. She sighed inwardly; she hadn't known how to tell her family before, but now she didn't have to think about it anymore.

However, she doesn't know if her family will accept her as she is.

After all, she was healthy again, and her personality was different from the original owner's. Deep down, Tang Yue selfishly didn't want to give up on this family, so she decided to cherish it.

She smiled sweetly at the two of them, "Brother, it's alright now."

Tang Bei and Tang Nan stood there blankly. At this moment, Old Li and Lin Cuicui also arrived. Seeing that Tang Bei and Tang Nan didn't care about them at all, Lin Cuicui decisively let Old Li use his strength to get up first, and then pulled her up.
