Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Chang Yin carried the unconscious Fei Shuwen on his back, traversing the ruins of Base 5 with Tang Shengkai. The base was a scene of utter devastation after the explosion, with sporadic gunshots and screams of Americans echoing among the broken walls and rubble.
The air was thick with the acrid smell of gunpowder, the burnt smell of burning, and the nauseating stench of blood; every breath felt like it was burning their throats.
Finally, they found a room that seemed safe. The door was ajar, and there was no sound inside. Chang Yin and Tang Shengkai exchanged a glance and nodded in understanding. Tang Shengkai, holding a dagger, carefully pushed open the door.
Inside the room, two American soldiers were vigilantly guarding the communication equipment. Before they could react, Tang Shengkai's dagger had already accurately pierced one of their throats, while Chang Yin swiftly pounced on the other and snapped his neck with his bare hands.
The whole process was clean and efficient, without making a single unnecessary sound.
They quickly settled Fei Shuwen on a makeshift bed in the corner and began searching the room for medicine. Fortunately, they found a first-aid kit in a cabinet.
Chang Yin skillfully treated Fei Shuwen's wounds, disinfecting, applying medicine, and bandaging them, each movement swift and efficient. Tang Shengkai stood at the door, vigilantly watching his surroundings, ready to prevent any sudden appearance of enemies.
Even after Fei Shuwen was given the medication, Base 5 remained in chaos. The explosions and gunfire in the distance showed no signs of abating; on the contrary, they intensified.
Chang Yin looked at the unconscious Fei Shuwen, his heart filled with worry, but he knew that this was not the time to hesitate.
"Let's settle Lao Fei here for now. We need to hurry up and move out," Chang Yin said to Tang Shengkai. "There are sporadic gunshots in the base. Judging from the sound, it should be the US military firing on their own. They wouldn't fire on their own people. It must be Tang Yue bringing her men over."
Upon hearing this, Tang Shengkai became somewhat anxious, "It's not the agreed time yet, why is this child here early..." At this point, Tang Shengkai shook his head. Didn't he know his own daughter well? When had she ever acted according to common sense?
A rare smile appeared in Chang Yin's eyes. "Tang Yue is definitely carrying out a decapitation strike. We can't fall behind. Let's begin now. However, we need to go to the armory first; we must take it!"
Tang Shengkai gripped his weapon tightly, his eyes resolute as he nodded: "Let's go!"
The two cautiously stepped out of the room and walked down the dimly lit corridor. It was pitch black all around, with only the occasional flickering emergency lights illuminating their path. With each step, they were highly vigilant, prepared to face any potential danger.
As they approached the armory, the smell of gunpowder intensified. Chang Yin signaled Tang Shengkai to stop, and the two hid around a corner, observing the armory. The armory was eerily quiet, a stark contrast to the chaos and occasional gunshots that rang out elsewhere.
Chang Yin swiftly moved to the armory door, which was ajar. He could smell the stench of blood. He gently pushed the door open and, by the light of the fire, peered into the armory.
All the weapons in the armory were gone, and the bodies of about twenty American soldiers lay scattered on the ground. Chang Yin didn't go in; only that little girl could have done it so cleanly and efficiently.
Alas, they were too late. But the little girl's arrival has made their operation easier. Putting everything else aside, the fact that the American soldiers were unarmed is something Chang Yin finds quite amusing.
"How is it?" Tang Shengkai asked as soon as Chang Yin arrived. Although the storage ring his daughter had given him had a decent amount of space, that was based on his own perception; in reality, it couldn't hold much.
The one Chang Yin held was probably the largest of all their storage items.
"It's empty now. There are only about twenty corpses of American soldiers inside," Chang Yin said calmly.
Tang Shengkai paused for a moment, then shook his head helplessly. "I wonder where he's wandered off to again."
Just then, they heard sporadic gunshots from several directions. Chang Yin turned and walked away. "Let's go, time to get to work. Looks like quite a few people are coming. We should go and make backup."
Chang Yin and Tang Shengkai moved like ghosts through the ruins of Base 5, the wreckage beneath their feet groaning softly. The distant firelight stretched and twisted their shadows, casting eerie shadows among the broken walls and rubble.
Chang Yin lowered his voice and said to Tang Shengkai beside him, "Officers usually carry communication devices, so keep an eye out for those who are frequently contacting people and issuing orders. Also, if they've already noticed us, they'll definitely be wearing ordinary American soldier uniforms. Be sure to observe them carefully."
Tang Shengkai nodded, twirling the dagger in his palm, a flash of cold light passing by.
As they rounded a corner, they heard hurried footsteps and shouts coming from ahead. Chang Yin signaled Tang Shengkai to hide, while he himself listened quietly and occasionally peeked out to observe.
A U.S. military officer with three stars on his epaulets was waving his arms, directing several soldiers to set up a defensive line. His voice was sharp and urgent, echoing in the empty corridor. A cold glint flashed in Chang Yin's eyes, and he gestured to Tang Shengkai.
The two tacitly split up, with Chang Yin flanking from the left while Tang Shengkai slowly approached along the right wall. The moment the officer turned his back, Chang Yin leaped up like a cheetah, his arm gripping the officer's neck like an iron clamp, his other hand tightly covering his mouth.
The officer struggled desperately, making muffled sounds in his throat, his legs kicking wildly on the ground. Seeing this, Tang Shengkai rushed forward and plunged his dagger deep into the officer's heart.
The officer's body stiffened abruptly, then went limp. Chang Yin released his grip, gently laid the body on the ground, and quickly searched the officer's body for communication devices.
