Crossing with Space, I Was Doted On By The Whole Group

Lu Qiqi transmigrated into a chaotic world of famine. With no parents and carrying a little sister in tow, she had to face immense hardship.

On the road during her escape, while others drank ...

Chapter 5 Grasshopper, Bullied

Lu Qiqi asked Lu Yao to guard the things while she went to gather firewood and fetch water.

The weather is so dry that the trees are dying, and there is an abundance of dry firewood.

Lu Qiqi quickly gathered enough firewood, then secretly went to a secluded spot, entered her spatial dimension, and fetched a pot of spiritual spring water.

She grabbed a handful of rice from the cloth bag and cooked it, then took some fine salt from her spatial storage and sprinkled it in, drinking the salty porridge.

Lu Qiqi had just started the fire and hadn't even put the pot on the stove when she heard Lu Yao's brief gasp.

She stood up and looked in the direction of the sound, and saw Lu Changping arrogantly poking Lu Yao's forehead with her index finger.

Lu Qiqi rushed over and forcefully slapped Lu Changping's hand away.

Lu Changping then hissed softly, wincing in pain and cursing, "You little slut, you're just like your mother, a vixen who only knows how to seduce men. You even dared to make Brother Gezhou weave grasshoppers. You're not worthy!"

Lu Qiqi examined Lu Yao's body and found that in addition to several red marks on her forehead, there was also a small cut on her palm.

It must have been Lu Changping who tore it when she snatched the grasshopper; she breathed a sigh of relief.

But the anger in her heart only grew stronger; Lu Changping actually hurt someone over a grasshopper.

Lu Qiqi was not only speechless, but even found it laughable.

His gaze swept around at the villagers, some cooking over a fire, others taking a nap with their eyes closed.

They knew perfectly well that adults wouldn't take a child's squabble over toys seriously. After a long day of travel, they were too busy cooking to bother with such trivial matters.

"I told you, if you dare to cause trouble again, I'll beat you to a pulp. You asked for it, so don't blame me."

Lu Qiqi walked towards Lu Changping.

Seeing her menacing approach, and recalling the lingering pain from the kick she had received, Lu Changping turned and ran.

She ran so fast, as if chased by a raging flood or a ferocious beast, that she fell to the ground with a pain in her right knee.

Just as Lu Qiqi flicked a pebble that hit Lu Changping, she heard a curse.

"You little bastard, how dare you hit your sister!"
