The walls were densely packed with metal cages, like a honeycomb. The cages varied in size, most of them had been forced open or destroyed, and the twisted alloy bars were stained with dried black blood and deep scratches. Some of the cages were littered with fragments of straitjackets and broken energy conduits. The air was filled with the dead silence left by the lingering despair and pain.

Space twisted violently, and a crack, a mixture of the black of the end and the emerald green light of life, suddenly tore open! Pei Du, holding Xu Shuangyao, tumbled out like a cannonball, landing heavily on a metal ground covered with dust and debris!

"Ahem!" Pei Du groaned, his body, covered in dark gold patterns, half-knelt on the ground. The powerful impact caused his blood to surge in his chest, and a trickle of dark gold blood flowed from the corner of his mouth. He immediately looked down at Xu Shuangyao in his arms.

Xu Shuangyao's face was pale, the golden flame mark between her brows flickering rapidly. Clearly, the forceful awakening and exertion of her powers to resist the Nullifier's pressure, combined with the impact of traversing the unstable spatial rift, had further damaged her newly stabilized soul. However, her consciousness was clear, and her clear eyes held the lingering shock and a hint of suppressed pain.

"Pei...Du?" Her voice was weak and hoarse, filled with the confusion and weakness of just waking up.

"It's alright." Pei Du's voice was low and hoarse, carrying an undeniable comfort. He quickly checked her condition, confirming that while her soul imprint had trembled, the cracks hadn't widened. She was simply depleted of energy and in urgent need of rest. His molten-gold eyes scanned the silent containment area warily. The fragments of the Source Key's data acted like invisible radar, scanning every corner, confirming the absence of stalkers or anything more terrifying.

However, just when his tense nerves relaxed a little——

A terrifying pressure far greater than before, colder and carrying an absolute dominance and destructive will, descended once again like a tidal wave of destruction, ignoring the barriers of space and instantly enveloping the entire abandoned containment area!

The Zero! It's coming! That aura that latches onto the very origin of existence is like a maggot clinging to my bones!

Pei Du suddenly looked up! His molten-gold pupils instantly contracted! Above the dome of this vast containment area, the space silently shattered and collapsed like fragile glass! The Zeroer's unimaginably massive, terrifying body, composed of spatial faults and solidified annihilation energy, was like a giant claw of destruction reaching out from another dimension, slowly and unstoppably squeezing into this space! The spatial pressure brought by its arrival caused the entire containment area to groan and distort! Countless abandoned metal cages were squeezed and deformed by the invisible force, emitting a piercing metallic whine!
