Pei Du let out a heartbreaking roar, the panic and determination contained in that voice even overwhelming the rage of destruction! He suddenly stood up from the thorn throne, which was shaking violently, and the thorns and sprouts were twisting and growing wildly! His body covered with blazing dark gold lines turned into a stream of destructive light that tore through the dark space. Ignoring the distance between them, he rushed towards Xu Shuangyao with reckless abandon!

It’s only ten steps away, and it’s there in an instant!

Pei Du knelt heavily on one knee beside Xu Shuangyao, a shallow dent being punched into the thick moss. Some of the lines had even reached the edge of her pale jaw!

Those cold geometric lines, that inhumanly precise beauty, were like the cruelest declaration—the pollution in the cradle was physically rewriting her life form! That stubborn, vibrant soul, scented with the fragrance of herbs, would be completely erased, replaced with a cold, zero-return body, only aware of carrying out the purge protocol!

"No..." Pei Du's fingers, covered in dark gold veins, trembled violently, even though he himself was unaware. Carefully and gently, he brushed against the pale golden veins that stretched along Xu Shuangyao's neck. The moment his fingertips touched the cold, metal-etched texture, a piercing, cold pain, originating from the deepest part of the star core blood, repelled by the same source!
