Absolute fear and the instinct for survival, mixed with the raging torrent of stars within his body and the will to destroy ignited by Pei Du's mark, exploded in Lin Mo's collapsing consciousness! He turned abruptly, facing the rapidly approaching dark red shadow, twisting and wriggling in the entropic field of vision. His remaining left hand (right arm was broken) subconsciously, with an almost instinctive trajectory, grasped the most chaotic and unstable node in the biological energy core!

No thought! No guidance! It was simply the counterattack of a dying beast! It was driven by the hatred of chaos within Pei Du's imprint!

Buzz——!!!

The violent dark-gold light in his left eye suddenly soared in brightness! A faint, yet absolutely orderly, stream of cold energy, following his empty hand gesture, like an invisible spike, disregarded the distance between them and fiercely penetrated the key node of the mutant's energy core!

The cold prompt sound flashed through my consciousness!

“Hiss—!!!”

The rapidly approaching mutant creature, like being struck head-on by an invisible giant hammer, let out a shrill, twisted scream! Its body, composed of viscous decay, suddenly stiffened! The violent and chaotic dark red energy at its core, like boiling oil dropped into ice water, instantly underwent a terrifying chaos and collapse! The energy lines representing stability twisted and fractured wildly in the entropic energy field!

Next second!

Bang!!!

There was a muffled thud! It wasn't an explosion, but rather a giant, mud-filled balloon that had its support instantly drained! The rapidly wriggling, dark red energy outline, less than five meters away from Lin Mo, completely and without warning...collapsed!

The viscous putrefaction that made up its body lost the restraint of chaotic energy and collapsed like a melted candle, transforming into a pool of bubbling, dark red mud that exuded a strong stench and the smell of radiation! Several black lumps resembling bones and a few organs resembling eyeballs, which flickered with a faint green light, rolled a few times in the mud before being rapidly corroded and dissolved!

The beeping sound brought him back to the harsh reality. That previous blow had consumed precious energy, yet it hadn't alleviated any of the internal crisis! Instead, the forced call upon power had intensified the galactic torrent within his body, and the stinging pain of the corroded crystals was even more pronounced! His legs gave way, and he nearly collapsed into the sewage.

We can't stop! We have to find a safe place!

He struggled, dragging his lead-heavy body as he trudged through the maze-like wasteland, brimming with the aura of death. The entropic vision of his left eye became his sole guide, helping him avoid dangerous areas emitting intense radiation or the aura of biological distortion, seeking paths where energy reactions were relatively "calm." Along the way, he beheld more horrific sights: metal structures shredded by immense forces; vast, dark brown stains (likely dried blood) frozen on the walls, like abstract art; the remains of humanoid figures, submerged in sewage, only a half-skeletal frame and rusted metal prostheses remaining; and even, at the edge of a vast, abandoned cooling pool, a massive, larger-than-human skeleton, corroded by some potent acid, leaving only its metal skeleton and some charred internal organs...

This is the real kingdom of death.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, the excruciating pain and exhaustion in his body reached their limit. His energy level dropped to 0.29%. His consciousness began to blur again, and Pei Du's fragmented memories and his own chaotic cognition began to surge and entangle. Just when he was about to collapse and was about to curl up in a corner and wait for death -

In the entropic horizon, beneath a dome supported by a massive, twisted keel of an abandoned starship, a relatively "clean" area appeared ahead! The energy flow there was unusually smooth and stable, even carrying a faint aura of order that resonated faintly with the core of the starry sky! This was in stark contrast to the violent, polluted energy flows elsewhere!

Be safe?!

Lin Mo's spirits lifted, like a dying man who saw an oasis in the desert. He burst out with his last strength and stumbled towards that area.

Only when I got closer did I realize it wasn't a natural formation. Beneath the massive keel, half-embedded in the rock face, was a circular structure cast from a thick, special alloy! Its surface was covered in rust and dents from impact, yet its overall integrity remained astonishing. In its center, a tightly closed circular hatch, intricately constructed with mechanical mechanisms, was inlaid around its edge with a faint, yet still recognizable emblem of ancient stars and gears—the emblem of the "Pioneer" series, humanity's interstellar colonization and exploration fleet of the past!

An old-time shelter that wasn't completely destroyed? Or... the core module of a crashed starship?
