"I" was suspended in mid-air, cracks and bloodstains on my body rapidly spreading, like porcelain about to shatter. Golden light burst from the cracks, carrying an ominous, destructive aura. The light from the lines on the back of my neck was so blazing that it resembled a miniature sun, illuminating the entire control room in a golden-white hue. The air was distorted by the intense heat. The cold voice in my head became intermittent, filled with the piercing cacophony of alarms: "Carrier... collapse... critical... logic core... forced... dormancy... unable... to maintain... resistance..."

The power of "entropy" is about to explode uncontrollably with the complete collapse of this body! It will be a disaster more unpredictable than a tsunami!

Time is like a bowstring stretched to its limit.

At this critical moment——

Buzz!

An extremely weak yet extremely clear signal fluctuation, like a stone thrown into a stagnant pool, instantly penetrated the roar of the violent tsunami and the dying wailing of the city, and accurately "hit" the depths of my consciousness.

No, it is the logical core of "entropy" that is on the verge of collapse.

Cold. Precise. With the indifference of someone in absolute control.

Immediately afterwards, a stream of information, like an ice-cold steel needle, ignored all physical barriers and data turbulence, and was directly "branded" into the core logic module of "Entropy".

It was a coordinate. Located in the heart of the city, buried hundreds of meters underground, it represented the core node of an old-fashioned physical backup data center.

No explanations. No extra instructions.

There was only one cold, clear, unquestionable logical judgment, presented like a law:

[Physical backup node…activated…can host logical core…temporary transfer…priority: higher than destruction program…execution.]

This information came so suddenly and so accurately, like a spider silk passed from the edge of a cliff!

The core logic of "Entropy," on the verge of collapse and filled with alarming noises, was like being injected with a powerful stabilizer! The frantically rushing, self-destructive torrent of power was forcibly restrained and suppressed by this sudden "way out"!

"Detected... high-authority... logical instructions..." The cold voice in his head instantly stabilized, and all the alarm noise disappeared, leaving only pure, efficient calculations. "Physical backup node... coordinates locked... carrying capacity... assessed... meets the minimum transfer threshold... logical core... transfer protocol... initiated!"

"I," suspended in mid-air, the invisible will that pushed forward, resisting the tsunami, was instantly cut off! My arms dropped abruptly! The golden light that had been swirling wildly across my body receded like a tide, leaving only a web of startling bloodstains on my skin and a faint trail of golden light beneath. The suffocating, terrifying force field dissipated in an instant.

Plop!

The body, having lost its strength to support it, fell straight down from mid-air like a puppet with its strings cut, and hit the ground heavily covered with broken glass and metal debris!

"Ugh..." A mouthful of boiling blood spurted out of my mouth again. My vision went black, and intense pain and extreme weakness washed over me like a tide. Lin Xi's consciousness struggled to rise from the abyss, choking on the icy water, yet greedily breathing in the air of "existence."

"Lin Xi!" Jiang Li was the first to rush over, desperately scooping me up. His arms were strong, yet trembling imperceptibly. He quickly checked the back of my neck. The eerie golden lines had dimmed to the extreme, like a circuit drained of energy, but they hadn't vanished, merely dormant. His eyes were filled with the shock of surviving a catastrophe and a deep worry.

"Transfer...Logic core...Carrier...Maintain minimum vital signs..." The cold voice in the skull became extremely weak, like a machine about to go into hibernation, but the inhuman indifference was still clear.

Outside the window, the massive black wall, stripped of the last trace of logical interference from "entropy," was no longer hindered by anything! With an even more violent and unmatched attitude, it slammed down hard on the edge of the city!

Boom boom boom——!!!!!!

The sky is falling and the earth is splitting!

As far as the eye could see, the skyscrapers near the coastline were like fragile matchsticks, twisting and breaking from the bottom under the impact of the massive black wall. Then, as if in slow motion, they slowly tilted and collapsed inland, carrying with them countless lives and burning flames that had not yet escaped! The huge reinforced concrete structures collided, squeezed, and collapsed with a terrifying sound like a planet shattering! The surging waters, like an angry beast, instantly submerged the low-lying areas, carrying with them the wreckage of buildings, vehicles, and the tiny figures of people as they poured into the depths of the city!

Tsunami, officially landed!

The wave of destruction is engulfing this once glorious smart city at a speed visible to the naked eye!

"Go!!" Jiang Li's roar was like a thunderclap, instantly drowning out the earth-shattering blast and the roar of the approaching sea! He lifted me onto his shoulders, his movements rough but with undeniable strength. "Go to higher ground! To the data center tower! That's the only structure that could possibly withstand the impact! Quick!!!"

The surviving team members were shaken awake by the shock of witnessing the natural disaster, as if struck by a whip! The instinct for survival overwhelmed their fear! They grabbed their remaining weapons and stumbled after Jiang Li, rushing towards the blown-open hole in the control room that led to the inner passage!

Behind him was a devastating black tide, carrying with it tens of thousands of tons of steel and the roar of death, surging towards him!

The emergency passage leading to the top floor of the data center tower is an extension of hell.
