Su Wan's body shook violently, her face instantly turned as pale as gold paper, and a streak of bright red could not be suppressed from flowing from the corner of her mouth! His command was the signal for action! Another bodyguard, who had been on alert the entire time, had already taken action before Gu Chengxiao finished speaking! He didn't attempt to catch the extremely dangerous flying insect wrapped in the violent data stream. Instead, he quickly pulled a piece of equipment from the side of his tactical belt—a palm-sized, matte black square device.

"High-frequency directional pulse jammer! Maximum power! Target: Insect core!" the bodyguard growled, his thumb pressing hard on a prominent red button on the top of the device! Simultaneously, he aimed a honeycomb-shaped launch port at the front of the device precisely at the frantically struggling mechanical insect in mid-air!

It rolled several times before coming to rest a few steps away from Su Wan and Gu Chengxiao. The air was thicker with the pungent smell of burning and ozone.

The immense exhaustion and backlash left Su Wan unable to hold on any longer. Her legs gave way, and she fell backward uncontrollably. The moment she felt weightless, a strong arm suddenly wrapped around her waist, steadying her shaky body. It was Gu Chengxiao.

His arms were as hard as iron, conveying an irresistible strength and... a subtle tension through the fabric of his clothing. Su Wan's back inevitably collided with his broad chest, and even through her suit, she could feel the steady heartbeat beneath the solid muscles, along with a distinct scent of cold pine and gunpowder. This sudden contact, beyond a safe distance, made Su Wan freeze instantly. The lingering anger, the excruciating pain, the weakness from immense exhaustion, all intertwined with this unfamiliar, masculine aura that carried a sense of absolute control, creating an extremely complex impact that left her mind blank for a moment.

"Don't move!" Gu Chengxiao's deep voice boomed above her, an unquestionable command. His arm tightened around her waist, practically half-holding her to prevent her from collapsing. His gaze, sharp as a knife, was fixed on the pile of mechanical wreckage still emitting tiny sparks on the ground, as if it were the only target worth paying attention to. "'Zero', analyze the wreckage immediately! Establish an isolation environment! Extract any remaining data, even a single bit!" His command was unwavering.

Su Wan struggled, trying to free herself from the suffocating restraints, but the exhaustion of her body and the excruciating pain in her brain rendered her powerless. Instead, her feeble resistance only served to tighten Gu Chengxiao's grip. She could clearly feel the vibrations in his chest and the icy, intense concentration as he gazed down at the wreckage. Humiliation and powerlessness enveloped her like icy vines. She bit her lower lip, tasting the salty, pungent flavor of her own blood.

At that moment, hurried, chaotic footsteps echoed from the entrance. Dr. Chen, the Chief Medical Officer who had been ordered by Gu Chengxiao to remain at the Beehive to stabilize the situation, rushed in breathlessly, accompanied by two medical team members carrying a portable emergency room and complex testing equipment.

"Mr. Gu! Director Su!" Dr. Chen saw Su Wan, who was half-held in Gu Chengxiao's arms, with a face as pale as paper and blood at the corner of her mouth, as well as Ajie's body on the ground. His face instantly became extremely solemn, "Where is the injured? Director Su, how are you?" He asked quickly while signaling the medical team members to come forward immediately.

"Take care of her first!" Gu Chengxiao didn't hesitate at all. He practically half-pushed, half-carried the weakened Su Wan to the rapidly advancing medical team. Two well-trained team members immediately supported Su Wan and laid her flat in a quickly deployed portable emergency room.
