"Alright, then I won't disturb your rest any longer." The hotel manager bowed slightly and left.

Meng Shen looked left and right, pondering what he should say to ease the awkward atmosphere.

Tang Yue spoke first: "I have some errands to run tomorrow, so I might be back late."

Yu Wan frowned almost imperceptibly, inwardly scoffing: These days, it's rare to see someone rushing to find their creditor; this guy really is a saint. Then, thinking it was none of her business, she casually nodded. Her eyes remained closed, her aura cold and indifferent.

Upon seeing this, Tang Yue lowered his eyes, concealing the faint smile in them.

Meng Shen glanced at Yu Wan with a puzzled look, noticing her slight displeasure. Was she sulking because Tang Yue had gone out alone without her? No, his brother wasn't usually so petty. Or was Tang Yue going to see… his first love? His white moonlight? Or his ex-fiancée!

He opened his phone, intending to have someone investigate Tang Yue's romantic history.

After a long day, Tang Yue noticed the fatigue on Yu Wan's face and said considerately, "It's late, why don't you rest first?"

Yu Wan raised her chin and stared at his face for a long while. When she realized that he was sincere, her sharp and cold gaze softened involuntarily, and she gave a casual "hmm".
