Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?
Four terrifying female corpses
Shaking his head, the Great Sage Equaling Heaven couldn't worry about that now; finding Master Black was the best priority. He continued climbing. Suddenly, he felt a cool sensation on his cheek. Reaching up to touch it, he was immediately assaulted by a strong, foul stench.
"It's corpse fluid," a thought flashed through my mind, and I shone my flashlight upwards.
Above, a tattered hanging coffin revealed a female corpse. Just one glance nearly scared the Monkey King out of his wits. For some unknown reason, the corpse was facing downwards, its deathly pale face directly towards him.
This female corpse is the same as the previous one. The previous one had become a mummy, while this one looks like someone who just died. It's unclear how it was preserved until now. The bodily fluids just now were dripping from the female corpse.
Those buried in the hanging coffins were ancient people from at least several thousand years ago; the female corpse was dressed in clothing similar to that of some ethnic minorities. The Monkey King gritted his teeth; he couldn't possibly retreat now, his flashlight was almost out of power, and if he didn't go up soon, the situation would only worsen.
Trying not to look at the female corpse, the Monkey King slowly climbed up. Suddenly, he felt a faint breathing sound in his ear, followed by a gust of cold wind.
He turned to look, and when he did, he was so shocked he almost fell over. The pale face of the female corpse was right next to his ear, and her eyes were open, looking at him with a half-smile. "Was it her who blew on me just now?"
So close, the Monkey King could see all the features of the female corpse clearly, even down to the pores. The corpse's face was as pale as paper, but it was heavily made up. The Monkey King knew that in many parts of ancient China, people were made up and placed in coffins after death. Now, the corpse's bright red lips looked as if it had been drinking blood, and blood-red liquid was flowing from its eyes.
The Monkey King dared not look any longer. He unleashed all his potential and desperately climbed upwards. Whether it was due to panic or something else, he suddenly felt a weight on his feet, as if he were being pulled by something.
His initial reaction was that he had been grabbed by the female corpse, and he was terrified, sweating profusely, his face turning deathly pale.
I shook my head a few times, but it was no use; my feet were still firmly held by something.
"Damn it, I'll fight to the death!" The Monkey King was driven to desperation. His eyes turned bloodshot. He took out pine resin from his bag, lit it, and threw it down. Then he grabbed his dagger and prepared to fight to the death.
The hanging coffin below was already dilapidated, and when pine resin fell on it, it instantly ignited. When the Monkey King turned around, he saw that his feet were actually bound by the shroud on the female corpse. He breathed a sigh of relief. By then, the fire had already started burning. Without thinking about anything else, he used his dagger to cut the shroud and desperately climbed up.
Finally reaching the top, the Monkey King collapsed to the ground. Below, the fire had spread, crackling and billowing thick smoke. The Monkey King stuck his head out and looked down, and what he saw almost made him wet his pants in fright.
The female corpse was staring at him with a ferocious expression, black liquid flowing from her seven orifices, her bright red mouth open, revealing white teeth. Surrounded by flames, she seemed to be in extreme pain, and even let out a shrill howl like a vengeful ghost before climbing upwards.
With his blood and qi flowing backward, the Great Sage Equaling Heaven was now terrifying to the extreme. He stood up and ran wildly, running an unknown distance, when suddenly his foot was tripped by something, and he rolled forward.
He tumbled several times on the ground, his whole body felt like it was falling apart, he was in excruciating pain, and his face was also cut. When he reached up to wipe it, his face was covered in blood.
Ignoring the pain, the thought of the female corpse catching up with him sent chills down his spine, and he fled for his life.
Shining a flashlight, I found myself on top of a deep, circular pit, like a mountain hollowed out. Looking down, I could feel the biting, icy wind. Along the edge of the pit were iron chains, one end nailed to the rock and the other end submerged below.
Looking around and finding no other way out, the Monkey King had no choice but to grab the iron chain and slide down. He didn't know how deep the pit was. He slid for about two hundred meters, but still hadn't reached the end. Suddenly, he heard a sound like rocks being hit from above, accompanied by roars like wild beasts.
The Monkey King didn't dare to breathe loudly, temporarily stopping his descent to observe the situation. It would be troublesome if the female corpse chased after him and climbed down. After a while, the commotion above disappeared. It seemed that the female corpse couldn't climb the iron chains and dared not linger. Now, the Monkey King only wanted to find Master Hei as soon as possible, otherwise he would collapse sooner or later. First, he was chased by evil spirits, and now he had provoked this female corpse.
He continued sliding down, for about another hundred meters, before finally stepping onto the ground. He shivered all over; this place was much colder than up there. The Great Sage Equaling Heaven looked around and found himself in a square plaza paved entirely with granite slabs.
This was a vast, dark hall built on the mountainside. As the Monkey King walked inside, his hair stood on end. Bats scurried about, bumping into him with such force that he felt a slight pain.
The air was filled with a damp smell. By the light of his flashlight, the Monkey King observed the grand hall in front of him. He didn't know how many years had passed, but it was still well preserved. Its magnificent appearance gave him a strange feeling, as if it were not a hall at all, but a tomb.
Although I was scared, I had already come this far and there was no way to turn back. After thinking about it, I had no choice but to bite the bullet and keep going.
