Delivery: Invincible Chicken Feet in the Underwater World

Chicken feet delivery, what's not to like?

Stealing Jade and Leaving Fragrance (Pseudo-Su Yue)

"Okay, then you stay here and enjoy the scenery. I'll be right back, very soon..."

The man in the blue jacket lowered his head, smoothed his sister's temples, placed the fan on her lap, and then took his bundle and headed towards the market. As he crossed the river, he glanced at the young master of the Li family who was standing and watching, but didn't pay much attention, and quickened his pace.

Young Master Li was standing on high ground, and could vaguely see the girl on the embankment. She seemed unable to walk, sitting in a wheelchair. Her plain clothes, against the backdrop of the lush green grass at her feet, gave her a refreshing air. Above her head was a rather ancient willow tree, its hanging ribbons swaying back and forth, making the girl's slender figure appear even more delicate, like a willow swaying in the breeze.

Perhaps it was a strange impulse, but Young Master Li suddenly wanted to see the girl's face, to see if it was as fresh and lovely as the vibrant green of the field, evoking a tender and innocent feeling of pity.

He tried to move a little to the side, and then a little more. Unfortunately, the girl seemed to be hanging her head, her loose hair obscuring her face, and only a glimpse of her porcelain-white, delicate skin could be seen as her hair danced in the wind.

The mere specks of shimmering white light were enough to bring joy.

Looking at beautiful women is indeed good for the mind and body. He thought to himself with amusement, then peeked at the charming figure a few more times before continuing on his way.

A soft "snap" came from below. He paused, then slowly retracted his foot. Turning his head, he was surprised to find the girl struggling in her wheelchair. One hand gripped the armrest, while the other stretched out with all her might. Her back was bent low, as if trying to grab something. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was the fan that had been on her lap, which had somehow rolled off. Although it had only fallen to her feet, it was still incredibly difficult for the girl with limited mobility. She strained to bend over, letting out labored breaths, her fingertips taut in vain, unable to reach the fan even a fraction.

Just as she was about to fall over, a pair of hands picked up the fan from the ground, brushed off the dust, and handed it to her.

With a "snap".

The fan fell to the ground for the second time. Young Master Li blinked and stood there dumbfounded.

A gentle breeze rustled through my hair, as if carrying the sound of flowers blooming.

The girl had a face that could awaken his tenderness. Her disheveled hair made her face appear small and delicate, and beneath her slanted bangs were two ink-wash-like eyebrows. They were not meticulously groomed, yet every frown and smile contained emotions that captivated his heart. With each glance, his heart pounded.

It was a simple, understated, yet welcoming beauty, like the winding river beside it.

Amidst the lush, sweet aroma, he truly witnessed for the first time the growth of something.

The girl's eyes flickered, her gaze seemingly questioning him, which snapped him out of his daze.

Somewhat embarrassed, he picked up the fan from the ground again, wiped it with his sleeve, and handed it to her. The girl nodded slightly, took it with both hands, and placed it on her lap. Then, seemingly a little shy in front of a stranger, she lowered her head.

"Excuse me." He realized that his gaze had been too rude and quickly bowed to apologize.

The girl gently shook her head, her eyes trembling slightly when they met his gaze before she quickly lowered them again. He saw her cheeks begin to flush, and her hands nervously gripped the hem of her dress on her knees.

“Girl, you have physical disabilities, it is really not right for you to linger here alone.”

He was usually quiet and didn't like to meddle in other people's business, but today he was acting out of character. Without thinking it through, he blurted out his opinion. At that moment, Young Master Li only felt that she had helped this young lady because she had encountered a gentleman like himself. If there were a next time, and she was left alone and encountered some frivolous person, a thug or a rogue, wouldn't such a beautiful young lady be unable to protect herself? Therefore, he had to remind her to be more careful next time.

The girl nodded awkwardly, her face still flushed, looking quite charming, but she remained silent throughout, which puzzled Young Master Li.

Even the most reserved girl wouldn't remain completely silent.

"How about I send someone to find your family?" Young Master Li asked. "Miss, what's your surname?"

The girl's eyes lit up, and she nodded quickly. She stretched out her hand and drew something in the air. Seeing that Young Master Li didn't react immediately, she extended her right hand, gesturing for him to give her his hand.

Young Master Li was stunned for a moment, then reached out his hand and saw the girl carefully manipulating his fingers, while the index finger of her other hand meticulously wrote the character "Chen" in his palm, stroke by stroke.

"Miss Chen."

Young Master Li smiled gently and called out softly. At the same time, he felt a pang of sadness and loss. Such a good woman, yet Heaven was so unfair, not only taking away her legs but also depriving her of her right to speak. Perhaps out of pity and compassion for the weak, he looked at Miss Chen, who was smiling at him, and felt a surge of warmth in his heart.

He casually called over two children from the roadside, gave each of them some loose silver, and told them to go to the market to find Miss Chen's younger brother. But he had long lost interest in browsing the market, so he stood aside and went with Miss Chen to look at the wide river.

Miss Chen seemed to yearn for the swaying willow branches above her head, reaching out to pluck a few, but always falling short, and had to give up in disappointment. Seeing her dejected expression, Young Master Li quietly went to the back, reached out and grabbed a long branch of the willow tree, and with a slight pull, the entire thick branch bent down. Just as Miss Chen was feeling disappointed, suddenly a large number of willow branches drooped down in front of her. She moved in surprise, turned her head to look at Young Master Li, who was trying his best to hold down the tree trunk, and after a moment, a gentle smile appeared on her face.
