Lin Yue never imagined she'd randomly marry a man she met less than a day before after graduating college.
Ever since she turned 18, her mother went all out introducing her to different m...
Song Yunzheng obediently walked over, lay down in bed, but kept his eyes on her.
Lin Yue covered his eyes with her hand, "Go to sleep."
Song Yunzheng refused to close his eyes, afraid that if he opened them, it would all be a dream.
Lin Yue lowered her head and kissed his eyebrows and eyes, then brushed over the tip of his nose, and finally landed on his slightly cool, thin lips, giving him two brief and gentle kisses, like a dragonfly skimming the water.
As if waking from a dream, Song Yunzheng touched his lips, looked straight at her, his eyes filled with longing.
When Lin Yue approached again, his body trembled involuntarily. She kissed his lips again, and he grabbed her arm tightly. She was slightly taken aback, pulled away from his lips, and looked at him intently.
Song Yunzheng gazed at her, his eyes seemingly melting her. Their eyes met, and he tentatively kissed her. The warm touch was real, not a dream. Overjoyed, he eagerly kissed her back.
They tore off each other's clothes, and Song Yunzheng rolled over and pinned her beneath him. Her delicate hands climbed up his neck, and their bodies became entwined in a passionate embrace, as if they wanted to merge into each other...
The room only returned to calm after the sun had set below the horizon. After venting his anger, Song Yunzheng lay on Lin Yue and quickly fell asleep.
Lin Yue quietly stayed with him, pulled the blanket over them both, and settled into a comfortable position, nestled in his arms, and fell asleep.
When she woke up again, Song Yunzheng was still sound asleep. Lin Yue didn't disturb him. Instead, she carefully got up, went into the bathroom to wash up, and then took out her phone to order dinner.
While waiting for her food, she started cleaning the living room and study, throwing the full ashtray, unfinished cigarettes, and lighter into the trash can.
Just as she finished tidying up, the doorbell rang. Lin Yue opened the door, took the food, and said thank you.
She arranged the dishes and rice in order, then went into the bedroom, sat on the bed, and gently patted his head. "Honey, get up and eat something."
He was a light sleeper and would wake up at the slightest call. He opened his eyes and stared at her blankly, as if confirming something, before slowly sitting up. His hair was a mess, and he ran his hand through it.
Song Yunzheng was clearly still sleepy, and his thoughts were still a bit sluggish, but his dazed look was really cute.
Lin Yue reached out and poked his cheek. "Go wash up and get ready for dinner."
Song Yunzheng nodded obediently. He was particularly obedient now. He did whatever Lin Yue said without asking any questions or hesitating. He lifted the blanket and went to the bathroom.
The two sat on the dining chairs, and Lin Yue served him food while he kept looking at her. He used to be the one serving her, but now that the roles were reversed, this feeling was quite unique.
Song Yunzheng was clearly starving. He ate very quickly, finishing a bowl of rice in no time. Lin Yue served him another bowl, but he suddenly froze after taking just one bite.
Lin Yue looked at him, "What's wrong?"
Song Yunzheng swallowed the food in his mouth, looked up, and said in a voice softer than a mosquito's buzz, "Yueyue, I'm sorry..."
Lin Yue felt as if she had been pricked by a needle. She gently shook her head. "You did nothing wrong and don't need to apologize to me. There were so many seagulls circling around me that day. I was so happy that I didn't pay attention to my footing. That was my own problem and had nothing to do with you. Don't blame yourself for all the mistakes."
Lin Yue touched his cheek again. "Don't overthink it, okay?"
Song Yunzheng grunted in response, then lowered his head and continued eating.
His obedient appearance filled Lin Yue with heartache. What could she do to help him...?
In the following days, Lin Yue stayed by his side every step of the way. After resting at home for a few days, Song Yunzheng returned to work once his emotions had stabilized.
During the time Lin Yue was injured, he stayed in Huihai City, and naturally a lot of work piled up at the hospital.
"Dr. Song, you're back?" A nurse passing by greeted him.
Song Yunzheng nodded with a light smile.
Instead of returning to his office, he went directly to the psychology department on the fifth floor.
After knocking on the door and entering, Dr. Zhuang greeted him with a warm smile, "You've arrived. What would you like to talk about today?"
This was the second time Song Yunzheng had come to see him. Ever since the last visit, Zhuang Yucheng had felt uneasy. He was very ill, and it seemed like there was a knot in his heart that he was struggling to untie, but it only tightened around him more and more.
āIād like to try your suggestion from last time.ā Song Yunzheng pulled out a chair and sat down.
Zhuang Yucheng raised an eyebrow slightly. "Are you sure? Hypnotherapy might touch on some things you're trying hard to hide in your subconscious, and the process might be very painful."
Song Yunzheng took a deep breath and nodded firmly, "I'm sure." Zhuang Yucheng stopped trying to persuade him and began the hypnosis after preparing the equipment.
Guided by Zhuang Yucheng, Song Yunzheng gradually got into the mood. After passing through a hazy white mist, he saw Lin Yue covered in blood, her face as pale as paper. The scene then shifted to the seaside, where Lin Yue drifted into the sea like a kite and disappeared...
The next instant, his body trembled violently, then he suddenly opened his eyes and sat up straight, his eyes filled with panic and despair.
He turned to look at Zhuang Yucheng, the gloom in his eyes still lingering, "How long were you hypnotized?"
"In less than thirty seconds, you are the first person I have ever encountered in my career with such a strong sense of psychological defense. Subconsciously, you strongly resist going back to the past. You are afraid to face the inner demons that are troubling you. If you don't face them, you will never get out of it. In severe cases, you will trap yourself in it to death."
Song Yunzheng lowered his eyes and rubbed his temples. "Any other good suggestions?"
