A small township factory's second-generation heir,
faces imminent factory bankruptcy,
but then acquires a couple of objects from another world.
Interrupted by Zhuang Yan, Han Ming and Dong Xiaolu seemed to lose their desire to continue their intimate moment.
After chatting for a while, Dong Xiaolu said she had to go back to the company first, as she had some things to take care of, and she would come to pick them up before 3 o'clock.
Seeing Han Ming's dejected look as she was leaving, Dong Xiaolu found it amusing and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a kiss as compensation.
Han Ming wanted to see her off, but Dong Xiaolu refused, telling him to rest in the room. She said they needed to sign an agreement later, and it was broad daylight, so there was no danger in going out on his own.
After seeing his girlfriend off, Han Ming lay on the soft, comfortable bed, reminiscing about the passionate moment he had just experienced, and thinking about it made him hate Zhuang Yan.
"You brat, you're not going out to play anymore? I don't care if you're bored to death or stink!"
Han Ming thought angrily.
Perhaps it was because Han Ming had been thinking about a lot of things lately, or perhaps it was because the spacious and comfortable guest room helped him relax.
Han Mingmei took a nice afternoon nap, and in her dream, she and Dong Xiaolu made significant progress.
I was finally woken up by a knock on the door. When I opened it, my girlfriend was there. It turned out I had slept for more than two hours, and it was almost 3 a.m.
Hurry up and call Zhao Lihua, but Zhao Lihua had already woken up quite early. It was unclear whether she had taken a nap or not. As soon as Han Ming and Dong Xiaolu knocked on the door, it opened immediately.
Seeing that Zhao Lihua had everything prepared, Han Ming went to ask Zhuang Yan.
Although annoyed that he had interrupted his groping business, he still had to tell the kid before going out on business and ask if he was coming.
Zhuang Yan hesitated for a while before opening the door, and Han Ming saw that the kid was playing video games inside.
When Zhuang Yan learned that Han Ming and his mother were going to the bank to sign an agreement, he didn't want to go. He was having so much fun playing the game that he forgot about his promise to be Han Ming's bodyguard.
Han Ming didn't insist. Anyway, Zhuang Yan couldn't help much with signing the agreement, so he just let him play games in the hotel.
Zhao Lihua, seeing that her son was refusing to move, reminded Zhuang Yan several times before leaving not to go out and run around.
The three of them got into a van parked in front of the hotel and soon arrived at the bank.
Han Ming knew that it must have been the person Dong Xiaolu had asked who played a big role, otherwise the bank wouldn't have been so accommodating.
Moreover, their attitude was quite enthusiastic, a stark contrast to when my father was hospitalized and two staff members came over to urge him to repay the loan.
Zhao Lihua checked all the agreements and found no problems, so she nodded in agreement. Han Ming then stamped the official seal and other documents.
To Zhao Lihua and Han Ming's surprise, the bank agreed to postpone the payment and to repay it in two installments.
The original due date has been extended by two years, and you only need to repay 50% of the total amount each year. Of course, interest will still be calculated, but it will be relatively low.
How could they not be satisfied with such a result? Zhao Lihua and Han Ming were of course more than willing, so the signing and stamping were completed quickly.
After the matter was settled, Han Ming planned to invite a few bank employees to dinner, but they politely declined.
They said it was a task assigned by their superiors and it was part of their job, so they couldn't accept the invitation, but they appreciated the gesture.
Upon hearing this, Han Ming knew it was because of his girlfriend again. This girl must have asked a high-ranking official at the bank for help; otherwise, why would she have agreed so readily?
Since that's what they said, Han Ming didn't insist, but silently added another favor to his list for Dong Xiaolu.
The original plan was to invite people from the bank to dinner, but now that the plan has fallen through, the three of them can only go back to the hotel and deal with it later.
Seeing that it was still early, Han Ming asked Dong Xiaolu if she still wanted to go to work. Dong Xiaolu said no, she had asked her company for leave.
Han Ming was quite pleased to hear this, thinking that once he returned to the hotel, he could indulge in those thoughts again, so his mind started to wander again.
Having accomplished a major task, Zhao Lihua was quite happy, and the three of them chatted and laughed as they sat in the car.
As the car pulled up in front of the hotel, Han Ming sighed inwardly, "It's over. The plan is ruined again." What happened? He saw a crowd gathered around the hotel.
Logically speaking, what business is it of Han Ming if people form a circle? But Han Ming can't ignore it because he saw Zhuang Yan among those people.
The three of them got out of the car. Zhao Lihua clearly saw her son and hurriedly walked towards the couple. Han Ming and Dong Xiaolu naturally followed closely behind.
Han Ming was prepared to help Zhuang Yan if he was bullied.
However, Zhuang Yan was a soldier, and his fighting skills should be superior to mine. Looking at the group of people, they didn't seem to be fighting.
Zhuang Yan also saw Han Ming and the other two. He was still smiling at Han Ming from a distance in the crowd. What a heartless guy.
They were playing games in the room when they left, how come they ran downstairs in such a short time?
When the group went to check the situation, they discovered that it wasn't Zhuang Yan who had caused trouble; the kid was just watching the show.
Han Ming went over to take a look and found that there was a person sitting on the ground with his head down, and a cardboard sign in front of him covered with words.
Han Ming glanced at it twice; it seemed to be something about asking for money, but the creditor was avoiding him, and the person asking for money on the ground had put up a big-character poster.
Han Ming wasn't interested in this; there were plenty of similar situations on the streets these days.
Pregnant teenage girls being taken advantage of and then abandoned, elderly men being kicked out of their homes by their sons and becoming homeless—these are basically all examples of this pattern.
They put up a signboard with some sentimental words to fool the public; ultimately, it's all about making money.
