The aroma of barbecue wafted through the air.

Looking at Hao Jianren and Zhang Ming's expressions, Lu Qingzhou barely managed to suppress her laughter.

Remembering that Zhouzhou couldn't handle spicy food, he quickly called out to Zhang Ming, who had returned, "By the way, Brother Zhang, grill some without chili peppers, there's a pretty girl who can't eat spicy food."

Lu Qingzhou pictured Zhouzhou's adorable face in his mind, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up.

As he spoke, he personally took action, carefully pushing the empty wine bottles scattered haphazardly on the table to the side, as if he wanted to wipe the tabletop until it shone.

Seeing Hao Jianren's appearance, Lu Qingzhou couldn't hold back any longer and said with a smile, "Brother Hao, there's no need to be so particular. Just be casual."

Hao Jianren, however, looked serious and waved his hand solemnly, retorting, "That won't do. Your friend is coming over, and it's the first time we're meeting. We need to make a good impression so he won't be scared away."

Zhang Ming also came back at this time. Seeing the waiter clearing the table, he nodded in agreement and said, "It really should be cleared up."

Zhang Ming caught a glimpse of Lu Qingzhou's strange smile out of the corner of his eye, and a feeling of unease crept into his heart.

But they couldn't figure it out and could only wonder about it to themselves.

The little guy is well aware of his mother's little scheme.

Su Qingyao pretended to be angry, raised her hand and gently tapped Zhouzhou's nose, and said with a smile, "You're so unwilling when your mother asks you to do something."

Zhouzhou immediately pouted, her face full of grievance as she accused, "You threatened me, it wasn't my choice, you're a bad mom."

Su Qingyao's eyes darted around, and she threw out bait: "You can pick any toy you want from the toy store tomorrow."

Upon hearing this, Zhouzhou's eyes widened instantly, shining like two black gems, and she asked with delight, "Really?"

Su Qingyao nodded vigorously, assuring him with absolute certainty, "Really!"

Zhouzhou cheered.

He hugged Su Qingyao like a little monkey, showering her with sweet words: "Mommy, you're even more beautiful now, I love you so much."

Su Qingyao was both amused and annoyed, and gently pinched Zhouzhou's nose.

Then, she turned to look at Leng Yue, who was sitting quietly on the sofa reading a book, and called out, "Yueyue, don't stay here, let's go out for a late-night snack."

Upon hearing this, Leng Yue felt as if two little people were fighting inside her.

To go or not to go? I'm really torn.

But it was really hard to refuse Su Qingyao's invitation.

After hesitating for a moment, she could only bite the bullet and nod in agreement: "Okay...okay."

After careful preparation, the three finally set off.

Since Guanlan No. 1 is located in the city center, it is not far from where Lu Qingzhou and his friends had barbecue, only a seven or eight-minute drive away.

Su Qingyao was wearing a light blue floral dress that perfectly accentuated her slender waist, as if it were tailor-made for her.

Her skirt swayed gently with her steps, each step like a graceful dance, lively and elegant.

A few wisps of hair playfully fell beside her fair cheeks, making her large, watery eyes even more captivating. Her fair skin glowed softly under the light, making her look like a fairy descended from heaven, so beautiful that it was impossible to look away.

Lu Qingzhou was stunned: "Wow, wow, my Qingyao, you're always so stunning! You really make your husband proud."

Leng Yue changed into a cool and stylish black fitted t-shirt, paired with ripped jeans, and her neat high ponytail swayed gently with her steps, showing off her capable and capable side.

His deep eyes seemed to hold endless stories, and beneath his high nose bridge, his rosy lips were slightly upturned, exuding a sense of unruliness and freedom, making him both handsome and eye-catching.

After Lu Qingzhou's gaze swept over the two of them, he couldn't help but sigh, "Wow, it's just going out for barbecue, but it feels like these two are going to a beauty pageant."
