Chapter 112 Allows you to watch openly

The two Raider bombers were flown by the two of them, and the remaining odds and ends were loaded into a vehicle, which was carried by Nighthawk, while Sawa just needed to focus on driving for Fu Yungui.

The man grunted in response, then walked to the chair next to him and sat down, his fingers holding a cigarette that hadn't completely burned out.

"Is Anai back?" he asked casually.

Last night, Anai was sent out to complete a mission. Because of a fight with Maomao, Fu Yungui decided to leave everyone at home this time, making sure they stood guard.

Shava shook his head. "Not yet. I guess there's no sign of anything happening."

The man didn't answer, put out his cigarette, and got up to walk towards the car by the door.

"Tell Anu and the others to set off first."

“Okay.” Sawa went immediately.

Momo obediently followed behind Fu Yungui, keeping a distance that was neither too far nor too close, so as not to disturb him nor fall behind.

The man stopped halfway and glanced back at her.

When Momo saw him stop, she couldn't help but stop as well.

The woman wasn't wearing a skirt today; instead, she wore a set of comfortable clothes that allowed for easy movement. Her straight, slender legs were completely encased in black pants, and she wore a simple white short-sleeved shirt. Her long hair was also tied back.

However, she managed to make even such a very ordinary outfit look amazing, making her appear even younger. Her face looked more like that of a minor, very youthful.

Her hands were carrying a bag of moderate size on each side, and she also had a small bag slung over her shoulder. These bulging things hanging on her thin body really ruined her appearance.

The man's face darkened. "Huang Momo, where are you fleeing to forage?"

Momo was taken aback, and followed his gaze to look down at the luggage in her hands. Then she patiently explained to him, "No, I'm just keeping this in case of emergency."

She even had a small first-aid kit tucked into her bag, but seeing the man's disgusted look, she didn't dare tell him.

Anyway, I'll just drive there, so I don't have to carry it myself. I might need it if I need it.

The man ignored her and continued walking forward with his hands in his pockets.

As they approached the door, Night Hawk was already waiting in the car behind them. Seeing them arrive, he immediately got out and walked over, calling out to the man, "Brother Yun."

"Okay," the man replied, then got into the car.

Momo followed behind. Ye Ying, who was standing there, noticed that she was carrying something on her back, so he kindly offered to help her put the things in the back of the car. Momo smiled politely at him and said, "Thank you."

"No need," Nighthawk replied, his face still cold.

Fu Yungui glanced outside from inside the car, then rolled down the window. "Huang Momo, are you getting in or not?"

Momo paused, "Hasn't Sawa arrived yet?"

Why are you in such a hurry? But she didn't dare say it aloud; she could only think it to herself.

"Come up." The man's tone was urgent and left no room for refusal.

Momo was taken aback, unsure what was wrong with him all of a sudden, but she didn't dwell on it and immediately walked over there, saying, "Okay."

She opened the back door and sat down next to the man.

Sawa returned quickly, and the two cars headed east.

Before long, the car followed the path into the woods. Many honeysuckle flowers grew in the dense bushes, and their fragrance wafted over, smelling surprisingly like a familiar wild rose. There were even violets blooming in the shady spots of the woods.

The sun was low in the sky, and the evenings and mornings were chilly. The dense forest was like a giant kettle, spewing out white morning mist.

Momo sat next to Fu Yungui, looking out the window.

Although the light here is a bit dim, it still looks beautiful.

The car in Sawa was going fast but also very steadily. The man leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes.

Momo stole a glance at him; the man's profile, standing in the dim light and shadow, looked almost unreal.

"Huang Momo, why are you peeking at me?" the man asked her casually with his eyes closed.

Momo was stunned, then immediately looked away and continued looking outside.

"No," she firmly denied. She had only turned her head and seen it by accident, pausing briefly for a few seconds.

The man chuckled. "You were peeping, so why won't you admit it?"

"I didn't peek."

Fu Yungui opened his eyes, glanced at her sideways, and smiled, "You are allowed to look openly."

Momo turned her head away and ignored him.

The man chuckled, then opened the window and lit a cigarette.

Momo turned her head to look outside. The scenery was beautiful, but the dense forest completely blocked her view.

If you wait until the sunlight dims, it must be a rather gloomy place.

Sawa slowed down the car, and Momo rolled down the window and leaned against it to enjoy the breeze.

She glanced back and realized that Nighthawk's car, which had been following behind, had disappeared sometime earlier.

She thought that Sawa had been driving too fast and the cars behind hadn't kept up.

"Fu Yungui, the car behind us seems to have disappeared," she kindly reminded him.

The man rested his cigarette on the car window and said, "Hmm."

Huh? Momo was a little surprised by his answer. It was as if he already knew, and he wasn't surprised at all.

But he kept his eyes closed the whole way, so when did he find out?

Momo had no way of knowing the answer to this question.

Thud...

Suddenly, a bullet came flying towards them. Luckily, Sawa was quick enough to slam the steering wheel shut. The bullet struck the metal of the car.

Their cars are all custom-made bulletproof models; bullets can't penetrate them at all.

Sawa immediately cursed, "Damn it, that's awful."

"You're asking for trouble, aren't you? You're asking for it."

Sawa pulled out his gun, peeked out of the car window, fired a shot in the direction the gun had come from, then reversed the car straight back before quickly turning around.

"Huang Momo, don't move."

Fu Yungui immediately pulled the terrified person next to him into his arms, then pulled out his gun and cocked it. His voice remained calm, without any hint of emotion, as if this kind of thing was commonplace.

If you listen closely, you can even detect a hint of excitement in the man's tone.

"Mmm." Momo didn't dare to move at all. The moment she heard the gunshot, her heart almost jumped out of her chest.

She clung tightly to the man's chest, her arms wrapped around his waist, as if afraid of being thrown off.

Sawa's car was moving very fast, swaying like a snake on the small road to dodge the gunfire from behind.

Momo clung to the man's legs and slid down the seat, crouching inside, too afraid to move, lest a stray bullet pierce through her.

"Ten seconds, accelerate, then turn the steering wheel all the way," the man in the back said.

“Okay.” Sawa immediately understood what he meant.
