Chapter 97 Will I die if I don't act horny for a day?
"Fu, it's been a few days, have you missed me?" William's classic opening line came through the phone again, his voice loud and cheerful.
The man frowned upon hearing this and retorted, "Would you die if you didn't act horny for a day?"
William laughed. "That's hard to say. It's possible they might suffocate."
Fu Yungui leaned back on the sofa, put her legs on the table, and didn't bother with his nonsense. "Let's get down to business."
Upon hearing this, William immediately became serious as well. "Fu, I've found out what you asked me to find out. Wenlai has indeed been involved in the drug business recently."
"The main shipments are from Myanmar to Thailand, with a small portion also moving along the China-Myanmar border."
"His business seems to have just started, but it's doing quite well. The person in charge of these businesses seems to be a new face, at least I haven't seen him before. I heard he's Wen Lai's newly adopted godson, and I heard he's ruthless."
"However, the nature of Wenlai and Songcha's relationship is still unclear. I estimate that their relationship is quite solid. I need more time to investigate further."
"How long?" the man asked.
"About a week."
"Okay," he agreed readily.
Just after the man hung up the phone, the doorbell rang again.
Shava, standing at the back, couldn't help but glance outside. It was quite a lively day.
Momo was taken aback, but immediately offered, "I'll drive."
After she finished speaking, she glanced to the side. The man didn't say anything, which meant he agreed.
She immediately pressed the power button and went outside to see who it was.
Kosen led two newcomers in through the door.
Momo saw the face clearly and froze on the spot.
"Hello, we're looking for Mr. Pason," Gusen greeted her.
He felt his memory wasn't very good, but he remembered this very beautiful girl in front of him very clearly. To be precise, he remembered everything and everyone related to Pason very clearly.
Momo was a little nervous, wondering if they had come to see Fu Yungui today because of Buddy's death.
"He..." She didn't know whether she should say Fu Yungui was there or not.
Just then, Anu came out, which rescued her. "So it's Mr. Gusen. You've come to see Brother Yun about something?"
“Of course.” Gu Sen straightened his voice and asked again, “Is Mr. Pason here?”
"Yes, come in." Anu led them inside.
The three followed Anu inside, with Momo walking slowly at the back, deliberately keeping a distance from them.
The man had just stubbed out his cigarette when he looked up and saw that familiar face, and couldn't help but smile.
It came a little later than he had expected.
“Mr. Pason, we apologize for disturbing you. We’re here today to investigate something.” This time, Gu Sen was quite polite.
"Oh, what is it?" the man asked.
"I think Mr. Pason has heard about Colonel Buddy, hasn't he?" Gusen said with a slight smile.
"It's hard not to hear about it then," the man said casually, leaning back on the sofa.
Gusen stared at him and asked again, "Regarding this matter, I wonder what Mr. Pason thinks?"
Hearing this, Momo, who was hiding in the corner, couldn't help but raise her eyes and look at the man.
She also wanted to know what he was thinking.
"It's a pity," the man said casually.
Momo was slightly taken aback. She felt that Fu Yungui's expression and tone were not serious at all, making her feel as if what she regretted was not Buddy's death, but that he should have died sooner.
The next second, a man's voice came from the other end, "He shouldn't have lived this long."
Momo was stunned; he really thought that was what he was thinking.
"After all, he ruined so many girls," the man added.
Gu Sen, suppressing his anger, asked again, "Isn't there anything else?"
"What else?" he asked rhetorically, then added with a smile, "As a law-abiding citizen of Thailand, I can only condemn him morally."
"You must have spoken on the phone before Colonel Buddy died, right?" Gosen asked again.
Fu Yungui smiled. He knew he was going to ask this. It was always the same old question, nothing new.
"Yes," he admitted.
"What were you all talking about?" Gu Sen asked again.
"It's not in the call log?" the man asked him.
“Yes, but that’s the procedure,” Kosen replied.
Fu Yungui sat up straight, leaning on the sofa with one hand. "I heard that Mr. Buddy was forced to commit suicide due to public pressure."
"Why are you investigating this now? Was he murdered?"
"Who told you that Colonel Buddy committed suicide?" When Gusen first heard about this, before even arriving at the scene, he didn't believe it was suicide.
Would General Buddy really commit suicide over something like this?
Although he had heard some rumors about Buddy over the years, as a high-ranking military officer, he couldn't possibly be so incapable of handling them.
"Nobody's here."
“He was murdered,” Gu Sen said.
Do you have evidence?
"The forensic doctor said the bullet pierced his forehead with great force, and the shooting location should be more than ten meters away." Gu Sen told him what he could say, and also tested his attitude, "Do you think he could have committed suicide?"
This is clearly a homicide.
"Oh, this guy's marksmanship is really good," the man commented honestly.
"You..." Gu Sen hesitated for a moment, "Now can you tell me what happened on your phone?"
“After all, you are now one of the suspects.” Gu Sen deliberately emphasized the word “suspect.”
The man smiled, lit a cigarette, and cooperated perfectly. "Of course. I asked him out for dinner, but he said he didn't have time. I was going to bring it to him that night, but before I could go, he died."
"there is none left?"
"there is none left."
Gu Sen glanced at the police officer taking notes beside him, then looked up at him again. "Okay, that's enough for today. I'll come back to you if I need anything else."
"I hope you won't leave Thailand anytime soon. We'll be waiting for you," Gu Sen said as he stood up.
Fu Yungui suppressed his smile. "Gu Sen, you really think I'm a murderer?"
“I didn’t say that, I’m a suspect,” Kosen emphasized again.
"Oh, so what the hell are you asking me?"
"If I don't leave Thailand, I'll give up my business?"
"I'm just not leaving for a short time," Gu Sen said calmly.
“A short time,” the man scoffed. “How long is a short time?”
Gusen knew he was being persistent, so he gave him a clear answer: "Don't leave for at least this week."
"That's hilarious. With your abilities, you couldn't break it even in a year, let alone a week," the man replied.
"you!"
"Don't be too arrogant."
Momo looked out through the glass window and saw that Gu Sen had left with a face full of anger once again.
She quickly disappeared from sight, then turned back to look at the man on the sofa.
As soon as I turned around, I bumped into his chest.
