Chapter 98: Did they start sleeping during the day?
"After standing here for so long, did you understand?" The man leaned down slightly and smiled at her.
Momo bit her lip, opened her eyes wide and looked at him for a moment, then closed her eyelashes again and didn't say anything.
She only half understood what he was saying, but she generally grasped that Buddy hadn't committed suicide; he had been murdered, that is...
I still don't know if he has anything to do with this.
But since that Gu Sen came looking for him, it must be related to him in some way, right?
As Gusen said, he was at least one of the suspects. He had contacted Badi before he died, when they returned from Myanmar. He left shortly after bringing him back.
But she had a vague feeling that it shouldn't be that simple.
"You probably had a lot of random thoughts last night and didn't get any sleep, right?" the man said again when he saw her lost in thought.
She was stunned, her face full of surprise, and then she stared at him blankly. How did he know? Did he have really dark circles under his eyes?
"No... I slept quite well." She rubbed her eyes.
Fu Yungui smiled, put his hand on her shoulder and pulled her away, "I didn't sleep well, come sleep with me."
"Huh?" How could it be so sudden? She hadn't even realized what was happening before the man grabbed her by the neck and dragged her upstairs.
Sawa, standing behind, was also stunned. They were sleeping in the middle of the day? They weren't even going to eat dinner?
Does Brother Yun have no bottom line?
Sawa glanced at Anu, who also said he had never seen Yun Ge sleep like that before.
"Let's go, we have things to do tomorrow," Anu said, then walked out on his own.
Sawa followed behind, glancing back every now and then at the second floor.
Later, Shava summarized a pattern for Fu Yungui.
When Yun Ge is home, he's known for turning off the lights early, making noise when the lights are off, and taking a shower as soon as the lights are on.
Fu Yungui took off his blood-stained shirt as soon as he entered the room. Momo stood against the wall, watching the man's movements nervously.
"Um... shall I go wash your clothes?" she asked as she watched him place the clothes on the chair next to her.
"Why are you being so attentive?" the man stared at her. "Trying to take this opportunity to leave?"
"No...no." Having her thoughts read so easily, Momo felt even more flustered and tried to avoid his gaze.
The man ignored her and took his clothes to the bathroom to shower.
Momo finally caught her breath after hearing the door close.
However, she remained standing still.
A short while later, Fu Yungui finished washing up, put on his pajamas, and came out.
He wiped the water from his hair, glanced at the person who was still standing there motionless, and said, "Come here and dry my hair."
"Okay." Momo immediately obeyed. She didn't have much experience with this task since it was her first time, but she thought it would be better this time.
The man sat down on the sofa next to her, tossed aside the towel he was holding, and waited for her to serve him.
Momo brought over the hair dryer, plugged it in, and then stood obediently to the man's right to blow-dry his hair.
Before she could even blow a couple of times with her arms outstretched, Fu Yungui grabbed her waist, lifted her up, and put her on his lap.
"That's perfect." It's easy, and you can blow on both sides.
"..." Momo felt the firm muscles in her legs. Although her legs usually looked nice, they were not comfortable to sit on.
She was wearing a skirt today, and now her legs were forced apart and straddled his, with his crotch right in front of her...
She glanced down at it and suddenly blushed. Her hand holding the hairdryer wobbled, and the cool air didn't reach her hair at all; it all went into Fu Yungui's pajamas.
Men love to see her blush, her fair face flushed pink, her eyes glistening with moisture, just like a little flower that has just bloomed after the rain.
He hadn't really planned to do anything; he was just feeling a bit tired and thought he'd take a shower and lie down with her for a while.
But looking at her now, she was like a bewitching enchantress. He stared at her for a few moments, as if he were trapped in her beautiful, limpid eyes.
Fu Yungui brushed aside her long hair and lowered his head to kiss her.
Momo gripped the hairdryer tightly in her hand, offering no resistance whatsoever.
The man kissed her with great patience, and Momo was forced to endure it.
Water droplets from his hair streamed down, landing on Momo's face, feeling cool, and then sliding down her neck.
After a while, she felt the man loosen his grip and move it slightly away from the corner of her lips.
The girl's lips became even redder, glistening with moisture. She subconsciously licked them, preparing to wipe them away.
The man then bent down again.
Momo was filled with regret; she should have stayed still.
...
Half an hour later, after her hair was dried, the man finally lay down peacefully after kissing her to his heart's content, but he still wanted to sleep holding Momo. Momo had no choice but to lie down with him.
She curled up with her back to him, lying in his arms, the man's chest warm.
She didn't know if he was asleep or not.
"Fu Yungui..." she tried calling out.
"Hmm," the man hummed with his eyes closed.
After he responded, the person in his arms remained still.
He figured she was just hesitating, probably because it was the same question she hadn't asked downstairs earlier. She was still undecided, but eventually she had to ask it.
"Just say what you have to say," he patiently reminded her.
Momo shifted slightly in his arms, sensing that he was in a better mood now.
She paused for a moment, then tentatively asked, "Um... Uncle Songcha, he shouldn't be in any danger now, right?"
Sure enough, I was right about everything.
"No." Although I didn't like hearing her ask that question, I still answered.
"What happened between you two?" Aren't they brothers? How could their relationship have deteriorated to this extent?
"Nothing much."
"..." Momo sensed a hint of impatience in those words. She knew it wouldn't be good to ask any more questions. As long as she knew Uncle Song was safe, that was enough. She didn't need to worry about anything else.
"Oh, then you should go to sleep."
"Mmm." The man tightened his arms around her, and fell asleep peacefully against her fragrant, smooth skin.
After the man fell asleep, Momo kept her eyes open, staring outside, showing no signs of sleepiness whatsoever.
As the sun set, Jasmine felt the sky outside growing darker, but the man behind her still showed no signs of waking up.
She shifted her body and slowly slipped out of his arms.
When Fu Yungui woke up, there was no one in his arms. He knew roughly when she had left, but he didn't care and let her get up and go out.
After all, she couldn't sleep, and kept moving around inside herself, making it difficult for her to sleep peacefully.
However, it's not quite used to suddenly not having a soft, fragrant person in my arms.
