Chapter 100 Atro's Silver & Elf Wood & Return

It would take seven days to get back to Mandolin from the dungeon. Upon learning of the Elders' attack, Sanette rushed back as soon as she finished crafting, fearing that her daughter might be harmed in any way.

The elders suffered a crushing defeat this time, and the trend of "spicy dishes" quickly spread throughout the dwarf kingdom, like wildfire.

The mandolin has reappeared in the public eye, no longer just a pattern on the national emblem.

Once again, pure white mandolin peppers bloom in the Sugar Desert, and many food shops have begun selling dishes made with mandolin peppers.

"Highly recommended by food hunter Miss Milu: Delicious chili jelly fish!"

"Queen Missy's carefully cultivated bicolor mandolin, Princess Sunny's favorite dish - spicy bouncing red bird."

"Justice Jaber's favorite dish - spicy chicken giblets stir-fried with two-tone mandolins, just one bite can revive you instantly!"

"The same food Ms. Nanako recommends: Delicious, super spicy, fire-breathing frizzy beef cubes! Just one cube will make you breathe fire like a fire-breathing dragon! Come and try it!"

"Miss Milu, the gourmet hunter, has invented a new recipe: Cactus Green Drink Infused with Flaming Mandolin Jelly Shrimp. Come and try it!"

There were even a batch of spicy lollipops, spicy chocolates, spicy drinks, and spicy nuts. Some dwarves even fell in love with spiciness after tasting them and launched a spicy chocolate mud bath in their own hotel, which was tried by countless people.

Xu Milu genuinely felt sorry for their stomachs.

But all she could do was silently take a bite of the chocolate roof to calm her nerves.

Sunny sent someone to retrieve the cake shop she had stored in the port town of Cake Town and bring it to the castle. Xu Milu ate it for three days in a row, and finally finished the last piece of the door panel before Sanette went out to meet people.

After all, not wasting food is a rule ingrained in the bones of every Chinese person.

...

Upon seeing her again, Sanette finally smiled. Looking at his increasingly lively daughter, he gazed at the oil painting on the wall, his eyes filled with happiness.

“That’s wonderful. Miss Miu will be happy to see the Mandolin Kingdom like this. Thank you, Miss Miu. Sunny told me that she wants to become an excellent Gourmet Hunter like her mother and you in the future.”

“Every flavor has its own meaning. I think Queen Missy was happy. She did not forget her original dream after becoming queen. She was a great mother and an outstanding woman.”

Xu Milu laughed:

"As for Princess Sunny, her condition improved because of your and the Queen's love for her. She is very lucky to have a father like you."

A thoughtful look flashed across Sanette's face. He waved his hand, and the guards immediately pushed over several items covered with silk.

"You don't need to worry about the elders. They've been punished for false accusation and can't eat sweets for fifty years. I don't think they'll bother you anymore."

He gestured for Xu Milu to look at what was under the silk cloth.

Xu Milu initially asked Sang Aite to forge a handy kitchen knife, but there was more to it than that under the silk cloth.

A large iron pot, half the depth of a person, with two handles just big enough for Xu Milu to rest on.

A pale silver spatula, polished so finely it could be used as a mirror.

A perfectly sized silver kitchen knife, its blade, wider at the top and thinner at the bottom, gleamed with a cold light. The lines of the blade were beautiful, without the slightest resistance. Millions of strikes had left no mark on the blade.

Xu Milu picked up the kitchen knife and tossed it around. It was surprisingly heavy. When she flicked it lightly, it made a soft "buzzing" sound.

"Kitchenware made of Atro Silver?"

The elusive Lola suddenly spoke, her expression full of surprise:

"Sanette, you stingy bastard, you're actually being so generous this time?!"

She was also holding a bright red cloud-shaped sheep by the hand, which was innocently chewing on something.

Upon closer inspection, Xu Milu exclaimed, "Good heavens, it's a Flaming Mandolin Chili!"

No wonder this sheep is bright red.

The chili flavor seems even stranger to Lola.

Sanette seemed to be used to her old friend's sudden outbursts, and gave a light hum:

"It's better than that arrogant elf who gave away all the 'elf wood'. Where did the elf who said 'Don't get close to humans, or you'll become unfortunate' go?"

Laura said this too?

Xu Milu looked over in surprise, and Lola quickly waved her hand:

"That was nonsense I spouted when I was three hundred years old! I was just a child then, how come you still remember what I said! You vengeful little dwarf!"

Seemingly trying to change the subject, she quickly introduced "Atro's Silver" to Xu Milu.

"This is an extremely rare mithril that only grows in the mines of underground cities. Weapons forged from it will never rust and are blessed by the dwarves. However, the dwarves will not give it away easily, let alone use it to make kitchen utensils!"

Lola was very happy for Xu Milu and patted her shoulder hard:

"Looks like this guy is really grateful to you!"

A large pot, one meter in diameter and half a meter deep, would consume more or less Atro mithril, not to mention a cleaver and a spatula.

Xu Milu didn't stand on ceremony and gave Sang Aite a clean and crisp bow. Although he was old enough to be her great-grandfather, the friendship between them was invaluable.

"Thank you, Your Majesty."

"No, I should be thanking you."

Sanette solemnly made a promise:

"It's enough to see Sunny smile again. I don't know how to express my gratitude, but I can promise you that from now on you are a friend of the dwarves. Dwarves are loyal to their friends and will never betray them."
