A story of mutual crushes and reuniting after a long separation, mainly set on campus. It's a sweet romance.
Su Xun falls in love with a boy, only to discover that the boy likes her too.<...
With the final whistle, the competition ended, and the result was as expected: the Japanese department crushed the Chinese department.
A cheer erupted around him, and people in the arena shouted the names of several team members, including Pei Ke.
"Oh my god, it seems like Pei Shen looked at me just now, I'm so happy!"
"Wake up, it's not dark yet."
The two girls from before had somehow reappeared near her, right in front of her.
Su Xun glanced at the score and a hint of amazement flashed in his eyes.
The people on the field came down, causing a sensation.
The weather was not cool; the sun was blazing overhead, and the boy's hair was already soaked with sweat. Beads of sweat streamed down his hair and fell onto his full forehead, glistening in the sunlight.
Pei Ke had already walked up to her, his breathing gradually becoming steady, though his cheeks were still slightly flushed from exercise. His loose-fitting clothes made him appear even taller and more slender.
"How was it?" He looked at Su Xun, his eyes shining, clearly saying, "Quickly praise me a few words."
Su Xun raised an eyebrow, handed over the water he had prepared, and sincerely praised, "You were absolutely amazing just now."
The boy, receiving the praise, couldn't help but smile, his eyes brimming with pride. He unscrewed the water bottle and gulped down the water, tilting his head back, his slightly protruding Adam's apple bobbing up and down, exuding an indescribable languidness.
Su Xun raised her hand and used a towel to wipe the sweat from his forehead and cheeks.
"I've said it before, I'm actually very good, I just don't like it." From childhood to adulthood, although he didn't show off his basketball skills much at school, he played tennis more often, but his childhood friend Yang Luonian liked it and would always drag him to play basketball during holidays.
"Okay, okay, I know you're amazing." Su Xun couldn't help but laugh and straightened his slightly crooked shirt.
"Oh my god, was Senior Pei Ke just flirting with his girlfriend?"
"Envy of everyone around."
"My aloof guy turns out to be a puppy-like guy? I'm all for him now."
......
"Wait, Senior Su Xun has been standing next to us the whole time. Did she hear what we were saying?" Finally, one of the girls realized this and nervously tugged at her companion.
Then both of them felt a little embarrassed. Just now, they had been lusting after Pei Ke's body, while his official girlfriend was listening in.
Su Xun naturally heard the two girls whispering again and smiled kindly.
Pei Ke frowned. "Let's go back."
"Don't you need to be with your teammates?"
"I'm not needed here for the time being, and it's too noisy." He was a little annoyed; the girls here were too unreserved.
He subconsciously reached out to hold Su Xun's hand, but found his palms were sweaty and sticky, so he gave up and left them hanging at his sides.
Su Xun also noticed that Pei Ke seemed a little uncomfortable, probably because he couldn't stand the sweat on his body. This person has never liked being covered in sweat.
"Okay, let's go back first."
She walked over to the side, intending to greet Wen Yanyan, but the other side was filled with a lovey-dovey atmosphere. She said a few words briefly and then left.
Sure enough, when the two returned to the apartment, the first thing Pei Ke did upon arriving home was to take a shower.
The sound of running water came from the bathroom. She sat on the sofa, scrolling through her phone idly. The campus forum was in an uproar, almost entirely filled with news about the afternoon's basketball game.
Several posts featured photos of Pei Ke: her leaping in the sun, her dribbling with a slight bend, and her smiling beside her at the end of a game.
"I died the first time I saw the school heartthrob play basketball. Please don't save me, come with me."
"I accidentally saw abs, sorry, I was overthinking it, I can wow wow wow."
"Warning: Chicken coop upstairs."
Su Xun looked at the photos carefully. In one of them, because of a jump, the oversized basketball jersey rolled up, revealing a small patch of skin. The muscular lines of the skin were faintly visible. He long-pressed the picture and then saved it.
She slowly scrolled through each comment, letting out a silent sigh.
This man is exuding charm again.
As I continued scrolling down, a post without any pictures appeared.
[I saw Pei Ke's girlfriend being affectionate today. She was so gentle, they were so sweet.]
Someone immediately chimed in, "I was right there at the time. The school heartthrob's eyes were sparkling when he looked at the girl, and she's so cute."
The buildings behind them kept getting taller and taller.
"My god, OP, you didn't see it wrong, did you? Isn't the school heartthrob always supposed to have an icy expression?"
"Upstairs, you don't understand. I've run into them several times in the cafeteria. When the school heartthrob looks at Miss Su Xun, he can melt your heart. Maybe that's love."
"Holy crap, these two are still together! Their relationship was pretty famous back when I was a freshman."
"What's wrong with the person upstairs? Are they just jealous?"
"I didn't mean that, I was just surprised."
Su Xun read the post carefully and saw the comments. It turned out they had been together for almost three years.
She remembered that when she first entered the school, she approached Pei Ke with trepidation, but he always seemed cold and distant. It wasn't until they talked things out that things gradually got on track.
These past three years have felt like a dream.
She stared blankly at her phone, a slight upward curve to her lips.
Pei Ke had just come out of the bathroom when he saw this scene, and he curiously moved closer.
"What did you see that makes you laugh so happily?"
A faint scent of bath fragrance surrounded him, and the boy's body still radiated warmth, pulling Su Xun's wandering thoughts back to reality.
She looked up and saw a head with half-wet hair and water dripping from the forehead. The boy had changed out of his black and red jersey from the afternoon and put on a crisp white T-shirt and dark shorts.
She was slightly taken aback; how could she be so incredibly charming even in such an ordinary outfit?
A thought flashed through her mind, and she subtly swiped her phone screen upwards twice.
"Look at the photos other people took of you; countless girls are falling at your feet in basketball shoes."
She clicked on the picture that showed a small patch of abs and held it up in front of Pei Ke.
Su Xun clicked his tongue twice, raised an eyebrow, and said, "She really is a troublemaker."
In the photo, his shirt is slightly pulled up, revealing a small patch of skin. A casual glance down reveals that most of the comments are "Ahhh," and he frowns unhappily.
"What, you really want to see?" He stared intently at the smiling person in front of him, then suddenly relaxed his slightly furrowed brow.
"Whether I want to or not is none of your business. I've already seen it." Su Xun raised his other hand, pointed to the photo with his finger, and emphasized again.
“I mean, the kind where you can see it more clearly.” He suddenly leaned closer, tilting half his body towards the girl’s soft body.
"I don't want to," Su Xun said calmly, "Go and dry your hair quickly."
A few drops of water fell from the tips of her short hair onto Su Xun's shoulder, adding a few dark dots to her light-colored clothes.
"Fine, I won't look then." Pei Ke stood up and stuffed the dry towel next to him into Su Xun's hand. "You wipe me down, and you're not allowed to refuse."
"Little Pei Ke, how old are you?" Su Xun rubbed the towel vigorously twice and asked with a smile.
"It's three years old."
Su Xun...
