Chapter 214 Sense of Security

It was a sunny day today, with the temperature around 28 or 29 degrees Celsius. Lin Shutang followed Li Yansheng to the court, and after less than half an hour, he felt the heat was unbearable.

Li Yansheng noticed her movements out of the corner of his eye, handed the club to the caddy beside him and walked towards her.

Seeing Li Yansheng coming over, Lin Shutang thought that he also felt too sunburned and wanted to wear a coat, so he handed the coat on his head to him and raised his other hand to fan himself.

Li Yansheng shifted his angle to block the light for her, then reached out to take her coat, his tone calm and gentle: "Go sit in the rest area."

Lin Shutang tilted his head to glance at the caddie who had just arrived not far behind him. She was fair-skinned and long-legged, her club propped up on the ground. So, she took the coat from Li Yansheng's hand and said jokingly, "I'm not going. There are so many beauties on the field. What if you fall in love with one? I have to stay here to protect you."

"What nonsense!" Li Yansheng's eyes lit up with a smile. He reached out and brushed the slightly sweaty hair on Lin Shutang's forehead behind her ear, saying, "Go ahead. If you get tired, have someone take you to the lounge. I'll come find you when we're done."

Lin Shutang was silent. She was indeed a little overwhelmed by the heat, so she stopped joking with him. "Okay."

Not long after Lin Shutang sat down on the recliner in the rest area, he saw Li Yansheng saying something to the female caddy next to him.

The caddie glanced in her direction and then left.

It was a bit far away, so Lin Shutang couldn't see her expression clearly, but seeing the unnatural force in her steps, he could imagine that her expression at the moment was probably not very good. About ten minutes later, a new caddy arrived, this time a man.
