I looked distressed and said, "Oh, well, let's not go then. How about we build some cover and teleport over together? We can hide in the cover and shoot from there instead of engaging in direct combat. If there are too many enemies, we won't have time to kill them all. I'm also worried that I might accidentally shoot the wrong target in a moment of panic."

"Sure, but are you sure the bunker can teleport there with us?"

I nodded: "Let's try it first. I'll hold you with one hand and hold onto the cover with the other. I won't have a weapon in my hand. If we can't get past the cover, we'll retreat first."

Ji Lin'an used his treasure chest to conjure up wooden boxes that could hold both of us. We cut two holes on each side of the boxes so that we could stick our guns out, and two small holes so that we could look outside. Once we were ready, Ji Lin'an and I were teleported to the new house.

Sure enough, there were more zombies than we had seen in the future. It was impossible to kill them all, since the front door was not closed at all. After killing a few, we decided to go home first.

Ji Lin'an frowned: "We need to find a way to close the door first, otherwise the number of zombies will only increase."

I asked with a puzzled look, "This apartment looks like it's on a high floor. How did so many zombies get up here?"

Ji Lin'an said, "I just observed their outfits, which look like cosplay costumes. Maybe they were accidentally infected while having a party next door when the zombie outbreak occurred. We have two households per floor, and there is only one household next door, so the number of zombies depends on the people invited to the party next door at the time."

I clapped my hands lightly: "That makes things easier. We can just teleport directly to your neighbor's house and lure the zombies there, then teleport to your house."

Ji Lin smiled with satisfaction: "Not bad, you've become smarter."

We teleported to Ji Lin'an's neighbor's house with the cover crate. There were at least twenty or thirty zombies. We weren't sure if all the zombies from Ji Lin'an's house had come, so we stayed a little longer to make noise. All the zombies surrounded us and roared. When we were about to collapse, we went home.

Ji Lin'an said, "It should be fine. Let's take the cover and go over there. We can't teleport to the living room anymore, right? The dining room is close to the door. You stand behind me, and I'll close the door when we get there. Take care of yourself."

I nodded in agreement. When we arrived at the door of the new house, there was still a zombie standing there. Ji Lin'an kicked the zombie away and closed the door. We inspected the house together. There were no zombies on the first floor, no zombies on the second floor, and no zombies on the third floor. I breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that it was safe. Looking at Ji Lin'an's new house, I said, "Your family is really rich. I only knew that the Fortune Center was a shopping mall and office building. I didn't know that people could live up here."

Ji Lin'an said calmly, "I bought this apartment a long time ago. I used to work in an office building downstairs, and I thought I could sleep in a little longer, so I bought this place."

Judging from Ji Lin'an's demeanor, it didn't seem like he was in Versailles. I asked, "I just saw that the upstairs area is a sunroom and a laundry room, and the roof area is quite small. Can we still move our solar panels over here?"

Ji Lin'an pondered for a moment: "In theory, it should be possible to bring it over and use it. I checked the installation instructions and it's not that difficult. You just need tools to fix it on the ground and connect all the wires. The third floor of the neighbor's house is completely covered, so you can install it on the roof of the neighbor's house."

Ji Lin'an looked at the room: "We can vacate the room on the first floor and then vacate another room on the second floor."

Ji Lin'an suddenly said, "Otherwise, if we share a room, we can have an extra room as a storage room."

I stared at Ji Lin'an in horror: "...When did you become so indecent?!"

Ji Lin'an asked in surprise, "Am I being improper? The master bedroom on the second floor is a combination of the original master bedroom and study, separated by a door. You can stay in the bedroom and I can stay in the study. This way, we'll be closer and it'll be safer."

Although he spoke with a straight face, I always felt that it was more than that. Perhaps my thoughts were dirty, but this suggestion didn't seem impossible.
