Xiao Cheng is dragged into a game world, weak, helpless, and suffering from amnesia. Faced with mentally challenged NPCs, a teammate who seems like a big shot obsessed with finding bugs, and unreli...
"Huh? You're going down alone?" Xiao Cheng watched as he picked up the iron railing, raised the bottom of the elevator a little, revealing an opening that could barely allow one person to pass through. It was pitch black below, with a pungent musty smell wafting out, and you couldn't see anything at all.
"Hold on to this bar." Fang He stretched his limbs briefly, grabbed the edge of the elevator, and carefully began to descend. The elevator shaft was deeper than they had imagined. Xiao Cheng struggled to hold onto the iron railing, and gradually Fang He's figure disappeared from sight. They could only hear his heavy breathing and the sounds of him climbing down.
About five or six minutes passed, and even breathing ceased. Xiao Cheng called out anxiously, "Fang He?"
"Yes, found it." After a while, a response came from below, the voice sounding a little deep, as if it were muffled inside a jar.
Nearly ten more minutes passed before Fang He poked his head out, looking disheveled: "Found it."
He managed to climb out by holding onto the edge, then leaned back and groped around for a while before pulling out two pieces of the body that had been severed at the waist. The body was frozen stiff and exuded a chilling aura.
Once he and the corpse had all emerged from the elevator, Xiao Cheng abruptly released the metal bar. With a deafening roar, the entire elevator wreckage plummeted to the bottom, raising a thick cloud of dust.
"Cough cough cough." Xiao Cheng was choked and coughed for a while. In the blink of an eye, she saw Fang He had already started piecing together the corpses.
"Don't you need to rest?" Xiao Cheng leaned closer and watched him carefully put the skull back on his neck.
The body was pieced back together, and suddenly, tiny tendrils of flesh sprouted from the severed areas. They intertwined and crisscrossed, like knots, connecting all the severed limbs together.
"It won't come back to life, will it?" Xiao Cheng asked warily.
As soon as he finished speaking, the corpse actually moved. It slowly raised its newly grown right arm and then made an "8" shape with its fingers towards the ceiling.
