Chapter 82 Grades are Paramount (12)

Xiao Cheng floated all the way up to the seventh floor, remarking as she did so that it was no better than an elevator.

Their class was having a math lesson, and the math teacher was still Ms. Liu.

"It" was using Xiao Cheng's own body as a prop, sitting upright in the last row of the classroom, and even raised its hand to answer a question.

"Very good." Teacher Liu nodded with satisfaction and smiled approvingly. "I'm glad you've made such a change."

"Thank you, teacher. You've taught me so well. I like you very much, and I also really enjoy your classes," it said with great respect.

Ms. Liu seemed even happier. She gently tapped the empty seat next to the podium—the seat of the boy whose head she had chopped off—with her pointer and said slowly, “I know you like to study, so you can sit here.”

Xiao Cheng watched the show from the sidelines, and as he watched, he leaned close to "it" and whispered, "Wow, you can't sit in this spot, it's bad feng shui, unlucky bro!"

It pretended not to see Xiao Cheng at all, and walked past with a smile on its face and without looking at her.

"Thank you, teacher." Instead of sitting down immediately, it meticulously performed a 90-degree bow.

"Very good! You admit your mistakes and correct them, and respect your teachers!" Teacher Liu waved his hand with deep emotion, and the slender pointer almost grazed "its" head as it went out.

"Holy crap! There's sword energy!" Xiao Cheng exclaimed in surprise.

Then you see a deep gash on its cheek, the skin and flesh turned inside out, blood dripping down.

"See, I told you this location was unlucky. I'm much more experienced than you in life. Young people don't believe in superstitions, but they just won't listen," Xiao Cheng said earnestly, then sighed with a hint of helplessness.

But "it" had an incredibly good attitude, letting the blood flow to the corner of its mouth, and even licking it with the tip of its tongue.

"Thank you for your guidance, Teacher Liu." It bowed deeply again at a ninety-degree angle.

Teacher Liu had clearly done it on purpose; she slammed her pointer down hard and then laughed with satisfaction.

"You're exactly the kind of student I need! Bonus points! I'll personally give you a 60! You're qualified to compete with other students on a level playing field!"

As soon as he finished speaking, all the other students in the classroom suddenly burst into applause, the applause thunderous and deafening.

Xiao Cheng clicked his tongue in amazement: "Pervert, really perverted. What you need isn't a star student, what you need is a masochistic Teacher Liu."

She watched as "it" sat down straight, not missing the flash of resentment in its eyes as it glanced at her location.

"Huh? You can hear me? I thought you really couldn't see me." Xiao Cheng swayed around "it" and said, "What exactly are you? You're playing this possession game, and you come here only to suffer this kind of injustice. You're really asking for trouble."

It didn't react, its eyes fixed on the writing on the blackboard, seemingly unconsciously fiddling with the corner of its textbook with its fingers.

"You love learning so much, Teacher Liu is so touched."

Xiao Cheng glanced at the desk drawer of "it" and found that the diary was gone. She didn't know if it was disposed of after the male student's death or if it was taken by Teacher Liu.

A sudden inspiration struck her.

Oh my god, could Teacher Liu's secret be that she's a sadist?!

Seeing that "it" suddenly stopped fiddling with the corner of the book, Xiao Cheng realized that she seemed to have just said what was on her mind.

"No way, no way, I guessed right?" Xiao Cheng's pupils were practically in shock.

Then I saw "it" pick up a pen and start writing in the notebook, each stroke with extra force, almost tearing the paper.

Xiao Cheng couldn't help but shudder at the sight.

She felt that "it" wanted to write not only on paper, but also to scratch on her body.

"Don't slander Teacher Liu." It copied the words repeatedly on the paper, line after line, until it had filled an entire page.

Xiao Cheng looked at "it" with a somewhat indescribable expression. So this was Stockholm Syndrome after all?

As she looked at it, she vaguely sensed something was wrong. Why did the handwriting look so familiar? After thinking about it more carefully, Xiao Cheng couldn't help but exclaim "Holy crap!"

My cheap roommate, it turns out you were the one who stole my body?!

While Xiao Cheng was still in shock, Teacher Liu suddenly stopped lecturing and leaned over the podium.

Her shadow fell on "it" open notebook, like a huge shadow spreading out, enveloping both "it" and Xiao Cheng.

"What are you doing?" A strange gurgling sound came from her throat, her voice hoarse and dry, sounding like that of a living person.

The pen in its hand paused slightly, and it belatedly looked up, stunned for a few seconds, before hastily trying to put the notebook away.

Teacher Liu let out a giggle, the sound of which was like the joints of bones and teeth grinding together.

Then she straightened up again, the pointer, like a sharp blade, gleaming coldly, slashing down heavily. The slender whip severed Xiao Cheng's soul in half, like a broken stream of water, but it quickly reformed.

Blood spurted out, and Xiao Cheng belatedly turned his head to look, only to see "its" entire head roll onto the table, quickly wither and rot, turning into bare white bones within seconds.

A line of writing appeared on the skeleton.

"Article 10 of the school rules states, 'Who gave you permission to scribble and draw in your notebook?'"

A hole the size of a bowl appeared on its neck, and a dark shadow emerged from the hole, surrounded by a cold mist, roaring desperately as it pounced on Xiao Cheng.

"If you've turned evil, fine, but why are you looking for me?!" Xiao Cheng realized that the mist seemed to be able to erode his soul, so he decisively chose to retreat strategically and turned to rush out the door.

There was noticeable slight resistance around her, and she felt as if she had passed through an invisible barrier, with a very faint "pop" sound in the air.

Then the scene blurred, and Teacher Liu passed through her body, slowly walking from the doorway to the podium. He then picked up a piece of chalk and wrote on the blackboard: "Math class, Teacher Liu."

The school bell rang loudly above her head.

She saw "it" sitting in the last row, standing up with the whole class, and bowing respectfully at a 90-degree angle to Teacher Liu: "Hello, teacher!"

The male student who should have died was sitting next to the podium.

The girl in the back row is the one who died because of school rules.

They both suddenly turned their gazes toward Xiao Cheng. Through their featureless faces, she could see their mouths stretched almost to their ears.

"Welcome, new student."

Two voices, one male and one female, mingled together, seemingly echoing directly in Xiao Cheng's mind: "You must have come to help us, right?"
