Chapter 1156

"It's so hot!"

"What's wrong with this temperature?!"

"Oh no, the flames are coming this way!"

"Admiral! Admiral Kuro!"

Flames quickly spread around them, engulfing the navy and causing them to panic.

They couldn't withstand flames at that temperature.

general?

Robin, who was standing nearby, had her pupils constrict when she heard the Marines' shouts.

This man is a general now?!

"What's the panic? Show some composure as naval elites."

Kuro glanced at the surrounding flames, exhaled smoke from his cigar, and slightly opened his fingers before clenching them together.

call...

The blazing flames that surrounded the area were extinguished at that moment.

Flames require an air environment to burn, and coincidentally, Kuro can manipulate the air. He can extinguish flames simply by removing the medium that fuels them.

Such childish things are no challenge for him. Long ago, when he fought Charlotte Linlin in Totto Land, he was able to break through the flames and lightning created by the Homies.

However, just as he extinguished the thing, Kuro narrowed his eyes and subconsciously looked at the strange creature that was falling from above.

Something's not right with this thing.

Logically, it should have been extinguished, but the flames on its surface remained; they didn't seem to be pure flames...

At this moment, Kro, who was below this thing, had already extended his claws, and black, malevolent energy was swirling around his forearms.

He was furious.

That was bad enough, but now even something that's not human is interrupting him?! Is he really unable to even finish a sentence?!

"Tear you apart!" Kro's eyes hardened, and he was about to attack.

"Kroo, come back! You mustn't touch this!"

Just then, Kuro's shout rang in Kuro's ears.

Although Kuro was puzzled, he reacted quickly, leaping backward and rushing to Kuro's side, where he crouched slightly.

"Mr. Kuro?" he asked, looking up, his eyes even showing a hint of grievance.

Kuro stared at the falling strange creature. It landed on the floor without passing through the floor and pushing the bodies of the people around it down.

He said slowly, "A soul creature."

"soul?"

Kro's eyes widened. "The Homies?"

If that's what it is, then Mr. Kuro was right to call him back. No matter how strong his attack is, it's only a physical attack. He hasn't mastered the 'momentum' that's strong enough to target the soul, and the high temperature he can feel will injure him.

"It doesn't seem like it. It seems to lack consciousness. Strange, besides Lingling, is there anyone else who can create a soul creature?" Kuro wondered.

This enormous creature, as vast as the night sky, obscured their view, while Usopp and his companions stared at it from the opposite side.

Zeus emerged from Nami's weather stick and stared at the fiery monster, exclaiming, "A soul! It has the aura of a soul!"

"Is that a Homie?!" Nami exclaimed in surprise.

Zeus carefully sensed the aura of this thing and said, "No, I can't sense the aura of a Homie. It's another kind of soul creature, but it has no intelligence. It seems to have been born to complete some kind of mission, or more like resentment."

"Let's get out of here quickly, this thing just saved me."

Robin said, "CP0 is chasing me, and now there are Marines too. It wouldn't be good if I were surrounded by them."

“That’s right, let’s retreat quickly. We can leave the battle up there to Luffy,” Nami nodded.

Bang!

Just as the group was about to make their escape, a semicircle suddenly bulged outward from the ceiling above, accompanied by a dull thud.

Bang!

Another muffled thud, and a crack appeared in the protruding semicircle.

Bang!!

The ceiling was blasted open, and a figure jumped down, shouting crisply, "Don't run!"

In that short time, the strange creature burrowed into the floor and disappeared.

The figure landed on the floor and slammed the ground hard with the spiked club in its hand. "Damn it, too late again!"

This person is a woman.

Upon seeing this person, Kuro's eyes widened slightly, lingering on her spiked club for a moment before moving upwards and finally landing on her sleeveless kimono.

Hmm? Killing intent?

Kuro instinctively looked to the side and saw Lida baring her teeth, staring at him with an unfriendly expression.

"Kuro?" Lida said, emphasizing each word. "What are you looking at?"

"Ah...this white fur is quite interesting, with its gradient color."

Kuro blinked, his face full of curiosity as he continued to look over.

The woman's hair was the same white as Lida's, but not exactly; it gradually changed from white to green and then to blue from the top of her head to the ends.

That old chameleon.

Her sideburns fell naturally to her chest, while her hair was tied into a ponytail at the back of her head. There were two orange hairpins on the top of the ponytail, and like Kuro, she had gold earrings.

But Kuro's earrings were gold beads that held his earlobes in place, while this woman was wearing a pair of gold earrings.

Most importantly, she had a pair of red horns on her head that looked like those of a demon.

That horn, along with the familiar spiked club—though different from Kaido's, lacking the large, protruding spikes and instead featuring rounded bumps—it was still a spiked club, and it was a woman's club...

That's where things get interesting.

Nami and Usopp exclaimed, "Yamato?!"

"Huh?"

Yamato turned around and saw the four of them. "It's you guys."

She was about to reach out to greet them when she suddenly realized something was wrong and exclaimed, "No! This isn't the time to say hello. I need to find that 'Fire Workshop.' Its purpose is to store the ammunition underground in this castle."
