The Great Pirate Era.
The great seas surge and churn, powerhouses destroy and annihilate, each fighting their own battles. It's utterly—
Demotivating!
I, Russil Kuro, age tw...
Kuro asked.
Kro wrinkled his nose and shook his head. "It's gone. It had already left by the time you got here."
Kuro couldn't sense it with his Observation Haki. Even though Kuro was fast enough, it seemed that Kuro's speed wasn't quite enough to overtake the Guardian Ape, which was why Kuro couldn't catch it.
This made him a little irritated.
He reached out and pressed his hand to the ground, squinting as he said, "Report the location. Since we can't catch it, we'll force it to reveal itself."
He refused to believe it. He turned the entire island upside down, but he still couldn't catch that monster.
"Hey, you guys better hold on tight to something, or you might throw up later," Kuro said, looking up at the crowd.
People looked at each other, seemingly still reeling from the shock.
"My lord!"
Suddenly, an old man emerged from the crowd and said tremblingly, "Are you here to capture Goro? If possible, could you please not kill him and bring him here? We want him to see something."
"Grandpa Locke, Goro is a wronged spirit, how could he possibly be captured!"
"Yes, we've already lost a lot of people. Besides, even though this is the navy, they might not be able to catch Goro. Let's leave first; we can't stay in this country any longer."
"Shut up!"
Listening to the commoners' chatter, the old man roared, veins bulging, "It's all our fault! If we had been braver back then, Goro wouldn't have been so angry!"
These words made Kuro pause. He withdrew his hand, stood up, and asked with some confusion, "So, what exactly is Goro?"
"plz follow me."
The old man bowed to Kuro and walked shakily into the town.
This left Kuro speechless.
It looks like it's trying to tell me a story.
So, you're all dead, and you still want to tell me stories...?
