My name is Lu Xiaonan, and I am a doctor. Three days ago, my friend Su Ming told me that the entire world would face a catastrophe and fall, and to be prepared. At the time, I didn't believe hi...
"I hope they're still alive."
We are all from Wutong City, and perhaps they are still living in Wutong City.
I shook off my thoughts and looked at the road ahead.
Having determined my direction, I continued south.
This time, we'll walk.
Abandoning the car was a last resort, given the large group of monsters ahead and the car running out of gas; staying in the car would have been suicide, so leaving was the only option.
After walking for about half an hour, we encountered several monsters, which we easily dealt with.
Not long after, I came to a T-junction and was just about to cross when a cry for help came from the alley.
"Help!"
The cry for help was shrill; it came from a young woman.
I turned my head to look at the path and saw five students, a boy and a girl, fighting against five monsters.
They had some sticks in their hands, but they had little effect on the monster.
"Help! Please save us!" One of the short-haired girls seemed to have seen me and shouted at me.
I raised an eyebrow, sighed, and was just about to go over when one of the five of them, a long-haired girl, was bitten by the monster.
"Ah!" A scream rang out, making me furrow my brow.
I quickly ran over, grabbed my machete, and knocked on the roadside railing, making a crisp "clang" sound.
Hearing the commotion, the monster on the path turned around and walked towards me.
I ran over and faced the five monsters that came at me all at once. I was overwhelmed. But I had no choice but to grit my teeth and go for it. I used my agility to run to the leftmost monster and chopped off its head with one strike. Then the remaining four monsters turned around and lined up to come over.
I raised an eyebrow. This formation was good. So I slashed at them one by one, and after four slashes, all four monsters were dead.
Five young men and women who looked like students stared blankly at me. There were three men and two women in total. One of the girls, a long-haired girl, had been bitten, while another girl with a short bob haircut was holding the bitten long-haired girl and crying.
I remained expressionless, looking helplessly at the spot where the long-haired girl had been bitten.
