My name is Lu Xiaonan, and I am a doctor. Three days ago, my friend Su Ming told me that the entire world would face a catastrophe and fall, and to be prepared. At the time, I didn't believe hi...
The water was cold, the biscuits were hard, and overall, it didn't taste good.
But these days there's no room for complaint; just being alive is good enough.
The day went by quickly, and I got hungry just as fast. By noon, I had finished the remaining half pack of biscuits, leaving only half a bottle of water untouched.
There's no other way; we'll just have to go hungry from now on.
To conserve my energy, I spent most of the afternoon dozing off. I fell asleep several times, but without exception, I would have nightmares and wake myself up in fright.
As evening approached, Wu Shuang returned from the toilet, and I called her over to the battalion commander's side. I lifted the glans over his waist to take a look, and seeing that it wasn't infected, I immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
And judging from the situation, it has already scabbed over, and the healing is going much better than I expected.
This is normal, though, since antibiotics do have some effect. As long as there is no infection, it's a blessing in disguise.
I said to Wu Shuang, "Go and call Fei Lichao in."
When Fei Lichao arrived, he asked, "How is it? Is it all done?"
I said, "Fortunately, there's no infection. The wound has scabbed over, and it should heal in about a month."
Upon hearing this, Fei Lichao immediately breathed a sigh of relief. I could see that he relaxed completely, nodded, and smiled, "That's good, that's good. It's good that he didn't die."
My face was full of bitter smiles. Although I was fine today, it was still unknown whether I could recover in the next few days. After all, I wasn't in a hospital, and there were too many variables.
I didn't tell Fei Lichao about this. It would be pointless to say anything anyway, so I might as well keep quiet and let him relax and wait patiently.
