Lu Yuan sneered, then looked at the other party and said, "Hmph, President Tan? Fine, I'll bring out all this evidence and see how you, my sworn brother, explain yourself. Although we're all acting independently now, there are still higher-ups overseeing things. You dare to directly attack our people? I think you have a death wish!"

After he finished speaking, the group of people were dragged and locked in the storage room at the entrance of each mine. It was cold and damp inside, and there were bloodthirsty black beetles from time to time. Lu Yuan ordered his men to tie them to the pillars.

Lu Yuan glanced at Sun Tao and said coldly, "You're so stubborn, aren't you? Fine, I'll see how long you can keep up this act!"

Lu Yuanjian was talking about how one of the burly men was tied up in the office on the first floor.

The burly man wore a disdainful smile, then looked at Lu Yuan coldly and said, "Kid, you've messed with me!"

Lu Yuan was facing his desk with his hands behind his back when he heard the voice coming from behind him. He immediately turned around and slapped the man across the face. Lu Yuan had superhuman strength, so the slap was a solid one.

After a resounding slap, the man's face swelled up like a pig's head, several teeth were knocked out, and because his hands were tied behind his back, he staggered and fell to the ground. His entire left side of his face was swollen, and even his eye socket was bleeding.

The other person groaned twice and then fainted. So Lu Yuan asked someone to bring a bucket of cold water and used it to wake the other person up.

Upon waking, a flicker of fear crossed the burly man's eyes, but then he seemed to remember something. He closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and said fiercely, "I don't know anything! If you dare lay a hand on me like this, I'll haunt you even as a ghost! Go ahead and kill me if you dare!"

Upon hearing these words, Lu Yuan not only laughed, but also pulled out a dagger from the drawer. After playing with it on his fingers for a while, he pointed it at the burly man, who immediately showed a look of fear on his face.

"What...what are you going to do? Let me tell you, I'm one of Brother Tan's men!"

After saying that, Lu Yuan plunged a knife into the man's calf. Immediately, a pig-like scream came from the office. The man lay on the ground covered in sweat, his body writhing.

The man screamed desperately, but Lu Yuan gently pulled out the knife. The man twitched his face in pain again. Then Lu Yuan said softly, "Tell me the truth. Tell me everything you did in the coal mine last night. Tell me everything, and maybe I'll spare your life. Otherwise, none of you will leave here alive!"

Upon hearing Lu Yuan's harsh words, the middle-aged man immediately swallowed hard. He didn't want to die. The harsh words he uttered were just the kind of threats commonly used in the underworld. Who would want to die when they're perfectly healthy?

Besides, he's doing very well at the survivor base. Although he's just a lowly security guard, he's doing much better than some ordinary technicians.

Zi, covered in cold sweat, finally relented after seeing the knife in Lu Yuan's hand: "I'll talk, I'll talk, please don't kill me or hurt me, okay?
