Early this morning, Kouyu and Conan were playing video games at the agency.
Conan angrily slammed the controller down and said to Mitsuyu, "I'm not playing anymore! I've been playing all morning and haven't won a single game!"
Kōyū glanced at Conan, smiled, and said, "There's nothing I can do; I'm just too strong."
Conan was displeased when he heard this. He ran back to his room and found that Conan had taken out a soccer ball. Without listening to what Mitsuyu was saying, he forcibly dragged Mitsuyu outside to play soccer. At this moment, Conan and Mitsuyu saw Ran. Ran looked really beautiful today. The jewelry around her neck added a touch of color to her fair skin, and she wore light makeup, making her look even more ethereal.
Conan then asked Ran, "Ran-neechan, where are you going?"
Ran was clearly flustered after hearing Conan's voice. She turned her head like a puppet to look at Conan behind her, unable to find the right words for a moment.
Conan, wanting to stick close to Ran, pointed at himself and Kouyu: "Ran-neechan, are you going to the movies? Can we both go together?"
Unable to think of a good way to put it, Xiaolan moved closer to the two of them and held up a finger to make a "keep quiet" gesture: "No, I'm going on a date!"
Upon hearing that it was a date, Conan and Kouyu were clearly a little confused. Then, Ran, with a bead of sweat on her face, said, "It's a date with Shinichi!"
Upon hearing this, Conan, being a child and having spent a long time playing games, didn't immediately grasp the idea. He scratched his head and said, "Oh~ so it's a date with Shinichi-nii-san!"
However, Kōyū realized what was going on, suppressing a laugh but not making a sound.
Ran, in a fit of despair, said, "If Dad finds out I'm dating Shinichi, he'll definitely be angry."
Conan, with a smile on his face, waved to Ran as she left: "Be careful on your way!"
To be honest, Guangyou was about to burst out.
Conan ran to the window of the police station, with Kouyu leaning over him. Conan watched Ran leave, his smile undiminished, and even a hint of happiness on his face. He said, "Ran, that girl, dressed so beautifully and looked so happy. So she was going on a date with me!"
Guangyou couldn't hold back any longer and burst into laughter.
Upon hearing Kōyū's laughter, Conan seemed to realize something was wrong: Holy crap, I am Shinichi!
Kōyū barely managed to suppress a laugh and said to Conan, "Conan, it looks like you've been cheated on!"
Conan, feigning indifference, ran to the sofa and lay down, saying to Mitsuyu, "Who Ran goes on a date with is none of my business. What's with the green tea?"
Upon hearing this, Kōyū began to count silently in his mind. Before he could even count to 5, Conan grabbed Kōyū and ran out, clearly heading in the direction Ran had gone.
While being pulled along by Conan, Kōyū said, "Conan, even though you say you don't care, your actions speak louder than words."
A Few Moments Later~
Ran looked at Conan and Kouyu helplessly: "Didn't I tell you I was going on a date today? Why did you two still come along, Conan and Kouyu?"
Kōyū pointed at Conan, indicating that he had been forcibly dragged over by this jealous guy.
Conan grinned mischievously, "I want to see Shinichi too! Shinichi's so slow, he's still not here!"
When Xiaolan realized she couldn't keep up the lie, she had no choice but to tell the truth: "To be honest, the person who came here today isn't Shinichi-nii."
Conan turned his head and asked, feigning curiosity, "Who came today? Why did you lie when you met him?"
Xiaolan turned her head, a special smile on her face, and said, "She is a very important person to me."
Kōyū noticed that Conan used the word "he" for men, while Ran used the word "she" for women.
Why didn't Conan notice? Because he's completely consumed by jealousy and doesn't care about these things at all.
Conan panicked a little when he heard this: "Is he more important than Shinichi-nii?"
Xiao Lan smiled, a slight blush on her face: "Silly boy, how can those two be compared? Alright, alright, you two go home, okay?"
Conan was clearly jealous; he turned his head to one side and said with a hint of arrogance, "But I don't want to go home yet~"
Although Ran was exasperated, she still smiled and said, "Oh, right, you like cake, don't you, Conan?" Before Conan could answer, Ran ran out of the cafe with a beaming smile, leaving behind only the words, "Conan, don't run around, I'm going to buy you a cake. After I buy the cake, you'd better go back with Kouyu, okay?"
Conan watched Ran leave, narrowed his eyes, and said, "It's no use, Ran. I'll use my observation and insight to see who this person you met is!"
At that moment, a woman walked in, ignoring the waiter's advice, and yelled at him, "Coffee! Are you deaf? Bring me my coffee right now!"
A bead of sweat appeared on Kouyu's and Conan's faces, and they didn't want to say anything more about the woman.
Kōyū took a closer look at the woman. To be honest, the woman's face looked quite menacing. However, Kōyū didn't care about the woman's attitude. After looking at her, he turned back to continue chatting with Conan.
The woman kept checking her watch, and there was a hint of anxiety on her face. Conan said to Mitsuyu, "No way, this must be the person Ran is waiting for."
Kōyū was also sweating, and replied, "Probably not... right?"
After a while, someone who was supposed to be writing a paper in the coffee shop came in. Conan shook his head; it probably wasn't him.
