While they were talking, Guangyou's phone went through.

"Officer Takagi, there's been a kidnapping of a foreigner here. I'd like you to help set up a checkpoint on the Saitama Prefecture border in Ikumo Town."

"The current intelligence is unclear and does not comply with regulations."

Guangyou smacked his lips: "Let Miwako-neechan answer the phone. You're too rigid. How was your outing with Miwako-neechan last time?"

"What? Last time... Oh! We just went out for a meal..."

Hearing Takagi's somewhat shy yet satisfied words, Kōyū quickly urged, "Really, let Miwako-neechan take the call."

After Kōyū told Miwako about the matter, Miwako readily agreed and said that she would have Yumi, who handles traffic accidents nearby, intercept the vehicle.

After describing James's physical characteristics, Miwako prepared to lead the police there.

"Miwako-neechan, please remind Yumi-neechan to keep an eye out for patrol cars. I suspect the criminals might be disguised as police officers, and they should be carrying guns."

Miwako's expression became much more serious; the involvement of guns meant this was no longer an ordinary kidnapping case.

"Okay, I'll tell her to be careful. Takagi and I will get there as soon as possible."

After hanging up the phone, Takagi was a little dazed.

Pointing to himself, he said, "I want to go too?"

"It's nothing anyway. We're both fine before dark, but it would be bad if it were true."

Miwako said to Takagi with a smile.

Looking at that smiling face, Takagi nodded firmly: "Alright, let's go."
