Chapter 32 Conan VS Phantom Thief Kid (Part 3)

With a very serious expression, Nakamori Ginzo said to Chaki Shintaro, "He can easily get close to that pearl after passing this inspection!"

Chaki Shintaro looked relaxed and said with a smile, "Don't say that! Inspector Nakamori, only well-known figures from all walks of life are coming back for tonight's party. We can't make any rash moves!"

Chaki Shintaro straightened up and said with some resentment, "And if we stop this event just because we're afraid of Kaito Kid, where will that leave the face of the Japanese police!"

Chaki Shintaro said to Nakamori Ginzo, "Don't worry, Officer Nakamori! This ship will be at sea for about three hours. Even if he gets in, he'll have nowhere to go!"

Nakamori Ginzo gritted his teeth, feeling somewhat disappointed in his son. Seeing that he couldn't persuade him, he snorted and left to prepare for tonight's events.

"Our Suzuki Group has now reached its 60th anniversary! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone for your support and assistance to our foundation..."

Shiro Suzuki stood on the stage and delivered his remarks to the many guests.

Just as Suzuki Shiro finished speaking, Suzuki Tomoko, Sonoko's mother, came out in a formal dress. It has to be said that Mitsuyu felt that everyone he met in the Conan world, especially the women, was quite good-looking.

On stage, Tomoko Suzuki held up a small box and addressed the guests, saying, "Before boarding the ship, I gave everyone a small box. To be honest, this is a small challenge for that so-called phantom thief!"

The group opened the small box, and inside were dark stars, every single one of them!

"Yes, this contains our Suzuki family heirloom—the Dark Star. Of course, there's only one genuine copy, and only I know who it was given to! Please wear this around your necks. If that master thief wants to steal it, he'll have to find the real one within these three hours!"
