Chapter 418 Why don't you take Ayumi as your wife?

"Kid, you're really impressive today."

Uncle Mori put down his beard, got up and walked up to Conan, staring at him with his head down.

Don't let Uncle Mori's usual carefree attitude fool you; when he gets serious, he exudes a powerful aura.

Conan felt a little uneasy under her gaze, but he could only maintain his smile: "Uncle, what are you saying? I don't understand."

"Conan."

Ran, who was sitting on the sofa, closed her book, got up, closed the door of the agency, and locked it. Then she turned around and looked down at Conan. "You're very brave. You've even learned how to defuse bombs now."

Conan then realized the reason for the eerie atmosphere, and feeling a chill run down his spine, cold sweat beaded on his forehead. "This...that..."

Xiaolan frowned, put her hands on her hips, and scolded, "Do you know how dangerous this kind of thing is?"

"Yeah, you little rascal, you're such a handful."

Uncle Mori shouted angrily, "If anything happens to you, how can I repay your child support payments... What about your parents?"

Upon hearing this, Conan revealed his crescent-shaped eyes and twitched the corners of his mouth.

Hey, sir, you've given yourself away. Your attempt to get child support is really something else...

The two took turns cursing Conan, each saying a different thing. Conan was initially a little scared, but he got used to it and let it go in one ear and out the other.

This constant scolding isn't going to work, so Conan's eyes lit up and he had a sudden inspiration. He explained to the two of them, "Actually, I didn't go in. It was Shinichi who went in to defuse the bomb."

Ran immediately stopped scolding and asked in confusion, "Shinichi?"

Conan nodded: "Yes, mainly because Shinichi didn't want to be exposed, so he asked me to go on TV in his place."

"Really?" Ran looked at Conan with a skeptical expression. "You're not lying, are you?"

Conan nodded quickly, looking like he was asking Conan to trust him.

"Hmph, it's that arrogant, self-important detective kid again."

Uncle Mori crossed his arms and snorted disdainfully, "I'll teach him a lesson next time I see him. It's amazing that he could come up with something like making a kid take the blame for him."
